Overview
The Lopolight 101-002 Series is a port side navigation light with a red 112.5° sector and 1 nautical mile visibility for vessels up to 12 m.
It runs on 10 to 32 VDC, so it fits typical 12V and 24V DC systems, and the housing is rated IP68 for exposure to spray and washdowns. This series is built for vertical mounting and is supplied with an extended 6 m power cable.
Key features
- Port sidelight with red 112.5° sector and 1 NM visibility
- Rated for vessels up to 12 m
- 10 to 32 VDC input for 12V and 24V systems
- IP68-rated housing for wet locations on deck
- Anodized aluminum housing with silver or black finish options
- Extended 6 m pre-attached cable for routing to a switch panel or controller
- Operating temperature range from -25°C to 55°C
Variants
This light is offered in multiple configurations to match common exterior finishes.
The configuration change is the housing finish; the light function remains a red, vertical-mount port sidelight with a 6 m cable.
- 101-002 6M: Silver finish housing. A good match when your rails, stanchions, or cabin-side fittings are in a light metal finish.
- 101-002-B 6M: Black finish housing. Blends in on dark-painted topsides, black rails, or shadow-line mounting positions.
Installation and setup
Mount the light on the port side on a vertical surface where it has an unobstructed view, and align it so the beam sector faces forward and aft correctly. Keep the mounting surface flat so the gasket can seal, and route the cable where it will not be pinched by hatches or hardware.
Electrical and system integration
The 10 to 32 VDC input makes this light straightforward to wire into an existing navigation light circuit on 12V or 24V boats. Use marine-grade connections, keep splices in dry areas when possible, and support the cable near entry points to reduce vibration stress.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The anodized aluminum housing is suited for saltwater use when installed with proper bedding and rinsed after heavy spray or washdowns. Periodic cleaning around the lens and mounting area helps maintain light output and a clean seal line.
Who it fits
This is a practical choice for smaller powerboats and sailboats that need a 1 NM port sidelight and have a longer cable run from the mounting point back to the helm switch or electrical panel.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
