Overview
The Lopolight 201-013 Series is a 2 nautical mile amber (yellow) towing light for vertical mounting, with a 135 degree sector for aft visibility when towing.
It runs on 10-32 VDC, so it fits 12V and 24V systems, and it is sealed to an IP68 rating for spray and washdowns. Single stack versions measure 86.2 x 28 x 57.75 mm (3.3 x 1.1 x 2.27 in) and draw about 1.7 W.
Single stack covers installations that use one towing light; double stack covers installations that require two towing lights in one vertical-mount unit.
Key features
- 2 NM visibility with a 135 degree towing sector (amber/yellow light)
- 10-32 VDC input for 12V and 24V boats; about 1.7 W draw (124 mA at 12V, 71 mA at 24V)
- IP68 rating for wet locations and routine washdowns
- Operating temperature range: -25 C to 55 C
- Vertical mounting with two M6 mounting screws for a stable install on arches, masts, or brackets
- 2.5 m shielded marine-grade cable already attached for clean routing
- Anodized aluminum housing (silver or black) with PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel fasteners
- Approved to COLREG72, EN14744, USCG, IEC 60945, and IACS E10; also listed with ABS, MED, DNV, and LR
Variants
This light is offered in multiple configurations that vary by housing finish and by single-stack or double-stack layout.
All versions are vertical mount, amber (yellow), 2 NM, run on 10-32 VDC, and carry an IP68 rating. Single stack units measure 86.2 x 28 x 57.75 mm; the double stack unit measures Ø92.5 mm x 96.5 mm.
- 201-013V: Finish Silver, style Single stack. A single towing light in a silver anodized housing for installations that only call for one amber towing signal.
- 201-013V-B: Finish Black, style Single stack. The same single-light format with a black anodized housing that blends in on darker topsides and brackets.
- 201-013V-ST: Finish Silver, style Double stack. Two towing lights stacked in one vertical unit for installations that require two towing lights at the same mounting point.

Installation and wiring
Mount the housing vertically on a solid surface where the 135 degree sector is unobstructed. Common locations are a towing light bracket on the aft mast, a radar arch, or a dedicated structure at the stern, depending on your towing arrangement.
The light accepts 10-32 VDC and draws a small continuous load (about 124 mA at 12V). Use a properly fused circuit and follow your vessel's wiring standards. Minimum recommended feed wire gauge is 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22); longer runs may require heavier wire to limit voltage drop.
Route the attached cable away from high-current motor wiring where practical, and seal any deck penetrations so water cannot migrate into the core.
Use and care on board
The sealed housing suits boats that live outside and see vibration, salt, and routine washdowns. Rinse salt off with fresh water and avoid abrasive pads on the lens so the light pattern stays clean.
This product is a good match for workboats and larger cruising boats that need an approved amber towing light and want a compact vertical-mount unit with low power draw.
