Overview
The Lumitec 101492 is a high-output white LED spot/flood deck light with a bracket (trunnion) mount and white housing. It runs on 10-36V DC for 12V and 24V systems and puts out 20,000 lumens of white light at 5000K (CRI 70+).
The housing is sealed to IP67 to keep out water and dust, and it is built for shock and vibration that shows up on hardtops, masts, and commercial rails. Operating range is -35°C to 55°C, so it holds up from cold starts to hot summer decks.
Overall size is 7.8 in long by 13.7 in wide by 3.76 in deep, and weight is 12.05 lb. Plan for enough clearance to aim the light on its bracket without the beam getting blocked by antennas, outriggers, or canvas.
Key features
- 20,000-lumen white output in a spot/flood pattern that gives reach ahead while still lighting the working area
- 10-36V DC input for 12V and 24V boats; draws 17.5A at 12V or 8.75A at 24V
- 5000K color temperature with CRI 70+ for a white beam that helps you see detail on deck
- IP67 sealing for spray, washdowns, and dusty installs
- Non-dimming white output with no third-party dimmer compatibility
- Tested for shock and vibration for mounting locations that take impacts and constant motion
- Compact footprint for this output: 7.8 in x 13.7 in x 3.76 in
Installation and wiring
This is a DC light with two power leads: red positive and black negative. The power conductors are electrically isolated from the housing.
Because current draw is substantial on 12V systems, keep voltage drop in check and size wiring for the run length. A 3-5% voltage drop target is a practical baseline; for example, a 12V install with the light about 20 ft from the power source calls for at least 8 AWG conductors.
Protect the circuit with an external fuse or breaker matched to the wire gauge and expected operating current. Mount the light where it can get airflow for cooling; when airflow is restricted, the light can reduce power to protect itself.
Compatibility and fit
The wide input range makes it a straightforward match for most 12V and 24V DC distribution panels. If your boat uses PWM or external dimmers for other lights, plan to run this unit on its own switched circuit since it is a non-dimming model.
The bracket mount is a good fit for hardtops, arches, mast structures, and deck rails where you want to aim the beam. Verify the mounting surface can handle the load and that you have room for the 13.7 in width.
Use on board
This light is a strong match for boats that need serious working illumination at night, such as sportfishing boats setting lines, center consoles loading gear at the dock, or workboats running deck operations after dark. The spot/flood pattern is also useful when you want to pick out buoys or gear ahead while keeping the immediate work area lit.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt off after heavy spray or washdowns and check bracket fasteners and electrical connections as part of regular topside inspections. Keep the lens clean to maintain output, and avoid aggressive solvents that can haze clear plastics.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
