Overview
The Lopolight 201-014 is a 2 NM 360° red navigation light with an FB (flat base) mount for horizontal installations. It runs on 10-32 VDC, so it fits both 12V and 24V DC systems, and the housing is sealed to IP68 for exposed mounting where spray, washdowns, and vibration are part of normal life onboard.
This is an all-round red signal light in a compact form factor (Ø92.5 mm x 36 mm) with low draw at 2.1 W (150 mA @ 12 VDC, 85 mA @ 24 VDC). It is approved to COLREG72 and related marine standards for navigation lighting, which matters when the light has to meet regulated intensity and visibility requirements rather than just look bright.
Across the range, the main differences are housing finish and the pre-attached cable length. Longer leads help when the light is mounted high on a mast, hardtop, or a pole and you want to reach a protected junction point without adding splices in the weather.
Key features
- 2 NM visibility with 360° red light output for all-round signal applications
- 10-32 VDC input for 12V and 24V onboard power systems
- IP68 sealing for installations exposed to spray and routine washdowns
- Low power draw at 2.1 W (150 mA @ 12 VDC, 85 mA @ 24 VDC)
- Compact footprint: Ø92.5 mm x 36 mm
- Horizontal mounting with FB (flat base) and POM mounting system
- Approved to COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, IACS E10, and recognized under USCG, ABS, M.E.D., DNV, and LR approvals
- Operating temperature range: -25°C to 55°C
Variants
This light is offered in multiple configurations to match common mounting aesthetics and cable routing needs on boats.
Finish and cable length vary by version. The core light output remains 2 NM, 360° red, with 10-32 VDC operation, IP68 sealing, and a horizontal FB base.
- 201-014-FB 15M: Finish Silver, Cable Length 15M. The long lead is useful when the light is mounted high and the switch or junction point is further away.
- 201-014-FB-B 15M: Finish Black, Cable Length 15M. A darker housing keeps a lower visual profile on many masts and hardtops while still allowing a long cable run.
- 201-014-FB-B 2.5M: Finish Silver, Cable Length 10M. A shorter cable run reduces excess slack when the connection point is closer to the mounting location.

Installation and setup
The FB base is intended for horizontal mounting on a flat surface such as a hardtop, arch, mast bracket, or pole base. Plan the cable route before drilling so the lead reaches a dry junction point without tight bends or chafe points.
If you need to extend the wiring beyond the supplied lead, keep connections in a protected enclosure and use marine-grade terminations. Minimum feed wire gauge is 0.5 mm2 (AWG22) for the supply run.
Compatibility and fit
Electrical integration is straightforward on most DC boats because the light operates from 10-32 VDC. It is suitable for vessels up to 50 m where a 2 NM all-round red light is specified for the intended signal use.
When replacing an existing light, confirm the mounting orientation is horizontal and check clearance around the base. Also verify the placement and visibility requirements for your specific application so the light is not blocked by rigging, antennas, or deck hardware.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The housing is anodized aluminum with a PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel fasteners. With IP68 sealing, it is well suited to saltwater environments when installed with proper bedding and strain relief.
Use cases on board
This is a good match for owners and captains who need a certified all-round red signal light on a yacht, workboat, or tender setup where the mounting location is exposed and the wiring run can be long. It also suits refits where you want to reduce electrical load compared with older incandescent signal lights.
Maintenance and care
Rinse with fresh water after heavy salt exposure, and check that the cable is supported and not rubbing on sharp edges. Avoid abrasive cleaners on the lens, and re-check fasteners and bedding during routine topside inspections.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
