Overview
The Lopolight 301-006 Series is a 2 nautical mile, 135° white stern navigation light for vertical mounting on vessels up to 50 m (164 ft). It runs on 10-32 VDC systems and draws about 1.3 W (110 mA at 12 VDC, 50 mA at 24 VDC), so it fits cleanly into typical 12V and 24V nav-light circuits.
The housing is fully potted and rated IP68, which helps when the stern sees spray, washdowns, and vibration. Silver and black versions use anodized aluminum with a PMMA lens and stainless mounting screws, while the white version uses a ceramic-coated finish.
Key features
- 135° white stern sector with 2 NM visibility for vessels up to 50 m (164 ft)
- Operating voltage 10-32 VDC for 12V and 24V DC systems
- IP68 ingress rating and fully potted electronics for water exposure and vibration
- Low current draw: 110 mA at 12 VDC, 50 mA at 24 VDC (about 1.3 W)
- Pre-cabled with a 2.5 m (8.2 ft) shielded marine-grade cable; minimum feed wire gauge 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22)
- Approved to COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, IACS E10, USCG, ABS, M.E.D., DNV, LR
- Finish options: silver anodized, black anodized, or white ceramic coated
- Style options: Single Stack or Double Stack, with different overall footprints
Variants
This series is offered in six configurations that combine housing finish with the Single Stack or Double Stack style.
Across the range, the light output stays white with a 135° stern sector, 2 NM visibility, vertical mounting, 10-32 VDC input, IP68 rating, and a 2.5 m cable. Single Stack versions list overall dimensions of 86.2 x 28 x 57.75 mm, while Double Stack versions list Ø92.5 mm x 96.5 mm, which matters when matching an existing mount and confirming clearance around rails, platforms, and aft hardware.
Installation and wiring
Mount the light on a truly vertical surface at the stern with a clear view across the required 135° arc. Keep it on the vessel centerline and high enough that rails, outboards, davits, or a tender on the platform do not block the beam.
The light is supplied with a 2.5 m shielded cable for a straightforward run back to the navigation light switch panel. Connect to a 10-32 VDC supply; the conductors are color-coded red for positive and black for ground, and the feed wiring is typically sized to at least 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22).
Compatibility and use on board
As a 2 NM stern light for vessels up to 50 m, the 301-006 Series fits many coastal and offshore setups where the navigation lights are used regularly at night or in reduced visibility. It is a solid fit for sailboats, powerboats, and larger yachts that want an LED stern light that meets common navigation-light standards and keeps electrical load low on long runs.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
