Overview
The Lopolight 301-109 Series is a 3 NM red port sidelight for vessels over 50 m (164 ft) that runs on 10-32 VDC and mounts horizontally. It is built for the standard 112.5° sidelight sector, with a sealed IP68 housing for exposed locations on deck and superstructure.
The range is offered with different housing finishes and in single-stack or double-stack formats, so you can match the look of the installation and the space available at the mounting point without changing the basic function of the light.
Key features
- Red port sidelight with 3 NM visibility for vessels over 50 m (164 ft)
- 112.5° sidelight sector for correct port-side navigation-light coverage
- Wide 10-32 VDC input that suits both 12V and 24V onboard systems
- IP68-rated sealing for rain, spray, and routine washdowns
- Horizontal-mount housing for installations on ledges, rails, and superstructure faces where a top-mounted footprint is needed
- Finish choices across the range: silver, black, or white housing (finish varies by variant)
- Single-stack and double-stack configurations available within the same series
- Certified to U.S.C.G., EN14744, and COLREG72
- Plug-connector style connection for a clean install and easier removal for service
Variants
This series is offered in multiple configurations that vary by housing finish (silver, black, or white) and by stack style (single stack or double stack). The white version uses a ceramic-coated finish.
Single-stack and double-stack options change the physical format of the unit, while core attributes such as 3 NM range, red port sector, horizontal mounting, and 10-32 VDC operation remain consistent across the 301-109 range.
What’s included
- Navigation light with plug connector
- Mounting hardware
- Installation guide
Installation and setup
Plan the mounting position so the light has a clear, uninterrupted view across its required sector, and so deck fittings, rails, and tenders do not block the beam. Keep the unit oriented correctly for the port side, and mount it on a stable, flat surface to avoid twist that can affect alignment.
Route the cable so the connector is protected from standing water and remains reachable for future service. Use proper strain relief, keep the connection points supported, and seal any fastener penetrations to prevent water tracking into the structure.
Compatibility and fit
With a 10-32 VDC input range, the light is suitable for common 12V and 24V DC distribution on larger yachts and commercial vessels. It is specified for use on vessels over 50 m (164 ft) with a 3 NM visibility requirement, so it is a good match when you are fitting or refitting navigation lights to meet that class of vessel and route profile.
As with any navigation light, verify placement, height, and shielding with your vessel’s lighting plan so the installation meets the required visibility arcs and does not interfere with other lights on board.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt and grime off the lens and housing as part of routine washdowns, and inspect the mounting hardware periodically for tightness. If the light is removed for service, check the connector and sealing surfaces for debris before re-installing.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
