Overview
The Lopolight 301-105 Series is a 3 NM, 135° white stern navigation light range for horizontal mounting on vessels over 50 m (164 ft).
These lights run on 10-32 VDC, so they fit typical 12V and 24V onboard systems without converters. The housing is IP68-rated for exposed stern locations, and the connection is via a plug connector for a clean install and service access.
Key features
- 3 NM visibility with 135° stern coverage in white for vessels over 50 m (164 ft)
- 10-32 VDC input for common 12V and 24V DC systems
- IP68 sealing for transom installs exposed to spray and washdowns
- Plug connector connection; minimum feed wire gauge listed as 0.5 mm2 (AWG 22)
- Operating temperature range: -25°C to 55°C
- Aluminum housing options by finish, with a PMMA lens and A4 stainless steel screws
- Approvals listed: COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, IACS E10, USCG, ABS, M.E.D., DNV, LR
Variants
This series is offered in three exterior finishes and two stack styles. Finish options are silver anodized aluminum, black anodized aluminum, or white ceramic coated aluminum.
Single stack models are Ø92.5 mm x 74.5 mm, and double stack models are Ø92.5 mm x 96.5 mm. Across the range, the light remains a horizontal-mount 3 NM, 135° white stern light with 10-32 VDC input, IP68 rating, and a plug connector.
Installation and wiring
This is a horizontal-mount stern light meant for a fixed installation at the aft end of the vessel where the 135° arc is clear of antennas, davits, and overhangs. On anodized versions, the cable can be routed to the side or out the bottom, which helps when you need to match existing cable runs and access panels.
Plan a drip loop, keep connectors in a sheltered spot behind the mounting surface when possible, and protect the cable where it passes through metal or fiberglass. Use an appropriately protected navigation light circuit for your vessel, and verify polarity before final assembly.
Compatibility and compliance
The 301-105 Series is built around the COLREG stern light requirement and is intended for larger yachts and commercial vessels where a 3 NM light is required. When replacing an existing light, confirm that the mounting location, visibility arc, and installation height remain compliant for your vessel and operating area.
Materials and corrosion resistance
The series uses an aluminum housing with either anodized or ceramic-coated finishes depending on the option selected. The lens is PMMA, and the fasteners are A4 stainless steel screws, which suits long-term exposure on deck and at the stern where salt, UV, and vibration are constant.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
