Overview
The TACO Marine T10-3000-6 is an adjustable rod holder mount for adding a ShadeFin shade setup to a boat through an existing rod holder. It gives boaters a practical way to position shade over the helm, cockpit, or fishing area without committing to a fixed shade frame.
The mount is made from Type-316L stainless steel with a high polish finish and works with the ShadeFin system and 1-1/8-inch diameter outrigger poles. It seats into a standard T-top rod holder, using a gimbal-slot butt end, nylon sleeve, and locking knob to help keep the mount stable in normal boat use.
Angle adjustment is handled with a Sure-Grip knob, with safety detents every 15 degrees so the shade can be set higher or lower as the sun moves. This is useful on center consoles, fishing boats, and other vessels where shade needs to move with the crew rather than stay in one fixed position.

Installation and setup
Install the mount by inserting it into a firmly welded T-top rod holder and checking that the gimbal slot is properly engaged with the rod holder pin. The included nylon sleeve can be used when the rod holder opening needs additional support around the mount shaft.
Once the mount is seated, the locking knob secures it in place. The ShadeFin can then be inserted and adjusted with the Sure-Grip knob until the shade angle matches the sun position and the area being covered.
Compatibility and fit
This mount is intended for use with the TACO Marine ShadeFin system rather than as a fishing rod holder. It is a good match for boats that already have a suitable T-top rod holder and need portable shade over a helm seat, leaning post, cockpit station, or fishing position.
Before installation, confirm that the rod holder is firmly mounted and positioned where the ShadeFin can open without interfering with antennas, outriggers, electronics, canvas, or crew movement. For gunnel-mounted use, a compatible adapter or telescopic rod holder accessory is required.

The adjustable layout works well for boaters who need shade that can shift throughout the day, especially during coastal cruising, dockside time, sandbar stops, and long fishing sessions. The stainless steel build and rod holder installation style make it practical for open boats where sun coverage needs to be added without taking up permanent deck space.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund.
