Overview
The B&G 000-14382-001 is a WS310 Wind Pack Wired that puts a masthead wind sensor on your rig and feeds wind speed and angle data into your onboard instruments. The pack includes a 20 m (65 ft) mast cable, plus a network interface and Micro-C T-joiner for connection into an NMEA 2000 backbone.
The wind sensor outputs the NMEA 0183 MWV,R sentence at 10 Hz and measures wind speed from 0.25 to 50 m/s (0.5 to 97 knots). It is rated IPX6 and IPX7 for heavy spray and washdowns, draws 15 mA at 12 V DC, and is specified for -25°C to 65°C operation.

Installation and setup
The sensor mounts at the masthead using the supplied bracket and gasket. Plan your cable route before fastening anything, then run the mast cable down the spar with proper chafe protection at exit points and around sheaves or sharp edges.
At the mast base, the mast cable connects to the included network interface. From there, the Micro-C T-joiner lets you add the interface to your NMEA 2000 backbone. The NMEA 2000 backbone and its power feed are not part of the pack, so confirm you have an available drop point and a properly powered backbone before installation.
Compatibility and system integration
This wind pack is intended for sailboats that want masthead wind data on an NMEA 2000 instrument network. It is a good match for cruising and club racing setups where steady wind angle data matters for trim, targets, and wind displays.
Because the sensor data is carried through the included interface into the network, most fit questions come down to physical cable routing and having a Micro-C NMEA 2000 backbone in place. If your boat is primarily 24 V, confirm you still have a 12 V NMEA 2000 supply available for the instrument network.
Maintenance and care
After saltwater use, rinse the sensor with fresh water and keep the moving parts free of dried salt. During routine rig checks, inspect the mast cable for wear where it passes through glands and at tie points inside the mast.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
