Overview

The B&G 000-13241-001 is a 7-inch Zeus3 multifunction display with Insight charting for sailboats that want one screen to handle navigation, instruments, and onboard systems. The SolarMAX HD IPS display runs at 1024 x 600 resolution and is rated at 1200 nits, so it stays readable in sun and spray, and the unit accepts 12/24 V DC power (10 to 31.2 V DC).

Control stays workable when the boat is moving. You can run it by touchscreen, or use the rotary knob and keypad when hands are wet or the helm is busy. Two microSD slots handle chart data, updates, and backups.

For system integration, it connects on NMEA 2000 and has a single Ethernet port for higher-bandwidth peripherals. It also has built-in wireless (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth for supported app and device connections.

Key features
  • 7-inch SolarMAX HD IPS display (1024 x 600) with 1200-nit brightness and wide viewing angles
  • Multi-touch screen with rotary knob and full keypad, including a man overboard shortcut using the front keys
  • Runs on 12/24 V systems (10 to 31.2 V DC); max power draw 20 W (plus or minus 4 W) with a recommended 3 A fuse
  • Waterproof rating IPX6 and IPX7 for exposed helm installations and washdowns
  • Built-in 10 Hz GPS receiver with WAAS, MSAS, EGNOS, and GLONASS support
  • NMEA 2000 Micro-C connection and 1 Ethernet port for radar, sonar modules, audio, weather, and digital switching on supported networks
  • Dual microSD card slots for charts, updates, and data backup
  • Internal Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth for wireless viewing, updates, and supported device control
  • Built-in sonar capability with support for CHIRP, StructureScan, and ForwardScan when paired with the right transducer
  • NMEA 0183 and composite video input available via optional adaptor cables
Installation and setup

The display can be bracket mounted with the supplied U-bracket or panel mounted. For panel mounting, use the foam gasket and keep the card reader door shut after inserting or removing a microSD card to help prevent water ingress. Leave enough space behind the unit for cable bends and connector service, and avoid mounting where it could be used as a handhold or where it could be submerged.

Plan ventilation when flush mounting into tight pods or enclosed panels. A dry, ventilated cavity helps prevent heat buildup and keeps the touchscreen responsive on hot days.

Compatibility and onboard integration

NMEA 2000 is the cleanest way to pull in wind, depth, speed, heading, AIS targets, and performance data from the rest of the boat. Use the Ethernet port for higher-bandwidth gear such as compatible radar and network sonar sources, and for sharing data with other networked displays.

This unit is a good fit for sailboats that already run B&G instruments or an autopilot and want charting, sailing data, and control points at the helm. It also works well on boats adding a network backbone for the first time, as long as power, cabling, and network layout are planned up front.

Charting and sailing features

Insight charting is supported, and the unit also works with Navionics and C-MAP cartography as well as compatible third-party AT5 chart content. Sailing-oriented views such as SailSteer and WindPlot help keep wind trends, targets, and key performance numbers in sight without bouncing between screens.

If your setup includes a B&G autopilot, the display can be used for direct control and commissioning, which is helpful for shorthanded sailing and for keeping pilot functions close to the helm.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
