Overview
The Vimar Arké 19641 is a 1-module Classic cover plate used to finish a single Arké wiring device opening with a tidy 90 x 90 mm front face. It mounts with clamp fixing to the matching Arké support and has a depth of 8.6 mm, which helps when you are working behind thin liners, furniture panels, or joinery on board.
This is the visible trim piece around a switch, socket, or other 1-module insert. It covers the cutout edges, protects the perimeter from small knocks, and keeps the installation looking consistent across cabins and saloons.
With an IP00 rating, the plate itself is not sealed against water or spray. On a boat, it belongs in protected interior locations, or in areas where the device and back box are already housed in a suitable enclosure.
Key features

- Can be mounted horizontally or vertically
- IP00 rating for dry, protected installation locations
- Halogen-free construction
- Marking surface for labeling circuits or functions at the point of use
- Wide finish selection to keep switchgear consistent with surrounding joinery and hardware
Variants
This cover plate is offered in many finish options, ranging from metallic looks such as brushed inox, black chrome, black nickel, brushed brass, brushed copper, and gold, through painted and anodized tones like matt graphite, matt slate, matt titanium, lava, and dark bronze, plus technopolymer color options and wood finishes including cherrywood, larch, and wengue.
Across the range, the 1-module layout, 90 x 90 mm face, 8.6 mm depth, and clamp fixing stay the same. The finish and surface material are what change, which affects the look and sheen under onboard lighting, from high-gloss reflections to matt surfaces that keep glare down.
Compatibility and fit
This plate is meant for the Arké system and a single 1-module insert. Confirm your existing mechanism and support are Arké and sized for 1 module, since multi-module layouts use different plates.
The square 90 x 90 mm footprint helps when you are aligning plates along a bulkhead or across a bank of controls. It also makes it easy to rotate the orientation to suit the layout without changing the opening size.
Installation and setup
Isolate power to the circuit, remove the existing plate, and check that the support is secure in the back box or panel. Once the insert is correctly seated, the cover plate clamps onto the support to finish the installation.
On boats, take a moment to verify the back box is supported and not moving in the liner or furniture panel. A stable base prevents rattles and keeps the plate sitting flat when the vessel is underway.
Use on board
This plate is a good match for refits and new builds that use Vimar Arké devices in cabins, saloons, nav stations, and interior service areas where you want consistent switchgear styling. It is less suited to cockpits, heads, or other damp zones unless the underlying box and device are protected for that environment.
Maintenance and care
Wipe with a soft cloth and mild cleaner as needed. Avoid abrasive pads and aggressive solvents that can mark finishes, and keep wood-look plates away from standing moisture to preserve the surface over time.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
