Overview
The Victron Energy SCC900500000 is an MPPT Control display for reading and configuring Victron BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT solar charge controllers through VE.Direct. It gives a fixed panel readout for solar watts, PV voltage and current, battery voltage, charge current, charge stage, daily yield, 30-day history, and cumulative history, so the boat’s solar charging status can be checked without opening an app or connecting a laptop.
The display is made for flush mounting and uses the familiar BMV-700 style housing, with a 69 x 69 mm front bezel, 52 mm body diameter, 31 mm body depth, and 50 g weight. It is powered through the VE.Direct connection at 5Vdc in normal installations, or from the supplied fused power cable on certain early controller models, with a battery-powered range of 6.5 to 95Vdc.
For marine electrical panels, nav stations, and protected helm locations, this unit is useful when solar charging needs to be visible at a glance during coastal cruising, fishing days, or time at anchor. It is a display and control interface, not a solar charger by itself, so it should be paired with a compatible Victron MPPT controller.
Key features
- Shows live solar charger data, including PV power, PV voltage, PV current, battery voltage, battery current, and charge stage.
- Displays 30-day history and cumulative solar charger values for tracking charging performance over time.
- Allows setup of compatible Victron MPPT solar charger settings directly from the panel display.
- Connects to the solar charger by VE.Direct for a clean link between the display and controller.
- Flush-mount format suits electrical panels, cabin control panels, and protected helm dashboards.
- Low power draw of less than 0.05W with the backlight turned off helps keep monitoring loads small.
- Operating temperature range of -20 to +50°C supports normal cabin and panel locations on board.
Compatibility and fit
The MPPT Control display works with the Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT and SmartSolar MPPT solar charger range, except for the discontinued BlueSolar MPPT 70/15. The solar charger must have the VE.Direct connection used by this display.
It is a sensible fit for boats where the solar controller is hidden in a locker, electrical compartment, or technical space, but the charging information needs to be visible near the main DC panel or nav area. It keeps the solar readout in a fixed location, which is helpful when more than one person may need to check battery charging status during a trip.
Installation and setup
The display connects to the solar charger with a VE.Direct cable. That cable is not included and should be selected separately in the correct length and connector style for the installation. The VE.Direct cable should not be extended, and the total cable length must not exceed 10 m.
In most current installations, the display is powered through the VE.Direct cable. The supplied fused power cable is only needed with certain very early solar charger models that shut down when solar input is not available, allowing the display to stay powered from the battery when the sun is down or solar input is low.
The front bezel measures 69 x 69 mm, while the body diameter is 52 mm and the body depth is 31 mm. These dimensions are important when checking clearance behind a switch panel, console insert, or nav station face before cutting the mounting hole.
What’s included
- MPPT Control display

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
