Overview

The Raymarine R70794 is a LightHouse Chart North America preloaded microSD card for compatible Raymarine Axiom and Element chartplotter displays. It gives boaters electronic chart coverage for the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Baja California, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Bahamas coastlines, the Great Lakes, and more than 6,000 inland freshwater bodies of water.

This chart is built for real navigation work on cruising boats, fishing boats, and tenders that rely on a Raymarine display at the helm. It supports route planning, shoreline awareness, marina and service searches, tides and currents information, and clearer chart viewing when moving between coastal, Great Lakes, inland, and island waters.

Because it is chart data on a microSD card, there is no 12V or 24V wiring, no NMEA network setup, and no through-hull installation involved. The main fit check is chartplotter compatibility and current LightHouse software support before loading or using the card on board.

Key features
  • Preloaded North America LightHouse chart card for Raymarine Axiom and Element displays.
  • Coverage includes U.S. coastlines, coastal Canada, Baja California, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, the Great Lakes, and over 6,000 inland freshwater lakes.
  • Includes tides and currents information for planning passages, fishing days, marina approaches, and timing through channels.
  • Color-shaded depth contours help make shallow water, channels, ledges, and depth changes easier to read on the chartplotter screen.
  • Four chart color palettes help the display remain readable in different light conditions, including bright daylight and night running.
  • Chart symbol controls let the operator adjust how chart objects appear, which helps reduce clutter at the helm.
  • Includes one year of LightHouse Charts Premium for chart updates, expanded points of interest, and high-resolution satellite aerial overlays.
  • MicroSD card format keeps installation simple for refits, chart updates, and boats already using a compatible Raymarine display.
Compatibility and fit

This chart is meant for Raymarine LightHouse-compatible multifunction displays, including Axiom and Element chartplotters. Before ordering, check that the display supports LightHouse Charts and that its software is up to date, since older software can limit chart operation or available features.

It is a good match for boats that already run Raymarine electronics and need North America chart coverage without adding a separate navigation device. It suits coastal cruising, fishing, Great Lakes boating, Bahamas trips, and inland freshwater use where the covered regions match the boat’s normal operating area.

Installation and setup

The card is used through the chartplotter’s chart card slot or managed through the Raymarine Chart Manager workflow. After activation, the Premium subscription can be used for available chart updates and additional content during the included subscription period.

Keep the card dry when handling it, avoid touching the contacts, and store any voucher or subscription details with the boat’s electronics records. On shared or charter vessels, that makes future updates and troubleshooting much easier for the next operator or technician.

Use on board

At the helm, this chart helps with the everyday decisions that matter: checking depths before entering a cove, reviewing marina approaches, watching for current timing, and planning a route before leaving the dock. For anglers, the depth presentation and inland lake coverage can also help when moving between fishing grounds, ramps, and unfamiliar water.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
