Overview

The B&G 000-15974-001 is a complete NMEA 2000 sensor and backbone pack that adds core sailing data to your network in one go: wind, GPS position, heading, depth, speed through water, and water temperature.

It bundles a WS320 wireless wind sensor pack, a DST810 MultiSensor, and a ZG100 GPS module, along with a Micro-C backbone starter kit plus extra N2K cables. The ZG100 updates position at 10 Hz and also supplies heading, heel, and trim data for compatible displays. The WS320 link avoids running a wind cable through the mast and uses Bluetooth 4.0 communication that is suitable for mast heights up to 25 m (80 ft).

Key features
  • Brings wind, GPS position, heading, depth, speed through water, and water temperature onto a NMEA 2000 Micro-C network
  • WS320 wireless wind sensor pack reduces mast wiring by using a Bluetooth 4.0 link; suitable for mast heights up to 25 m (80 ft)
  • ZG100 GPS module with 10 Hz position updates plus heading, heel, and trim data for sailing displays
  • DST810 MultiSensor combines depth, speed, and water temperature in one through-hull unit
  • Micro-C backbone starter kit hardware included: network power cable, 4.5 m (15 ft) N2K cable, 3 T-connectors, and 2 network terminators
  • Extra N2K drop cables included (2 m and 5 m) to help route connections from backbone to devices
What’s included
  • WS320 wireless wind sensor pack (wind sensor and wireless interface)
  • DST810 MultiSensor (depth, speed, temperature)
  • ZG100 GPS module
  • Micro-C backbone starter kit (network power cable, 4.5 m N2K cable, 3 T-connectors, 2 terminators)
  • N2K cables: 2 m and 5 m
Installation and setup

Plan the NMEA 2000 backbone first so the wind interface, GPS module, and DST810 can all land on nearby T-connectors with sensible drop runs. The included terminators belong at the two ends of the backbone, and the network power cable should be installed as the network’s power feed with appropriate protection per your boat’s electrical practice.

The WS320 masthead unit mounts where a wind sensor normally lives, while its interface mounts below and ties into the Micro-C backbone. The ZG100 should be placed where it has a clear view of the sky and is spaced away from strong magnetic sources. The DST810 is a through-hull install, so confirm access to the inside of the hull and allow for proper sealing and alignment during installation.

Compatibility and fit

This pack is intended for boats running a NMEA 2000 (Micro-C) network and a display system that can show wind, depth, speed, and GPS data. Before ordering, verify you have room for the backbone components and that your intended mounting locations make sense for cable routing and service access.

For the DST810, confirm the through-hull location on your boat and any existing cutout or replacement plans before committing. For the WS320, keep in mind the wireless link specification is tied to mast height and the practical realities of installation on your boat.

Use cases on board

This pack fits well for a refit where you want to add the core sensor set to a NMEA 2000 network without piecing together cables and backbone parts. It also suits sailboats that want faster GPS updates and clean wind data while keeping mast wiring to a minimum.

Maintenance and care

Rinse salt buildup where practical and inspect the masthead wind sensor and its mounting hardware during regular rig checks. Keep the through-hull sensor area clean to maintain consistent depth and speed readings, and confirm cable connections stay dry, supported, and strain-relieved in high-vibration areas.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
