Overview
The Vimar Eikon 20411 is a 1P+N RCBO that combines residual current protection with overcurrent protection for AC circuits on board. It supports 120-230 V AC at 50/60 Hz and installs as a 2-module built-in device with a 38 mm built-in depth, which suits compact distribution panels where space behind the faceplate matters.
On a boat, this type of RCBO is typically used on shore power or generator-fed branch circuits where you want one device to handle both overload and earth-leakage protection. It is rated IP40, so it belongs inside a panel that stays dry and is not exposed to washdowns or spray.
Key features
- 1P+N configuration with two poles total and one protected pole, with neutral switching for cleaner isolation on AC circuits
- 120-230 V AC, 50/60 Hz supply range for common shore power and generator distributions
- Trip curve C with options across C6, C10, and C16 rated current to match typical branch circuit loads
- Residual current sensitivity options (I?n) of 6 mA or 10 mA, depending on the configuration
- 2-module built-in format with 38 mm built-in depth for Eikon modular panel layouts
- IP40 protection level for enclosed electrical panels
- Leakage current type A and current limiting class 1
- Breaking capacity of 1500 A on C6 versions and 3000 A on C10 and C16 versions
Variants
This range is offered in multiple configurations that vary by front color (White, Grey, or Silver/Next) and by the protection settings listed for each part number.
Across the range, the format remains a 2-module, built-in 1P+N RCBO for 120-230 V AC at 50/60 Hz with IP40 protection and a 38 mm built-in depth. The combinations mainly differ by rated current (C6, C10, or C16) and residual current sensitivity (6 mA or 10 mA).
Compatibility and fit
These RCBOs are made for Vimar Eikon modular installations using a 2-module device position. Confirm you have two free module spaces on your AC panel and enough clearance behind the mounting surface for the 38 mm built-in depth plus wiring bend radius.
This is an AC protective device. It is not intended for 12 V or 24 V DC circuits, so it should be placed only on the AC side of your system.
Installation and setup
Mount the RCBO inside a panel or enclosure that keeps it away from spray, salt mist, and direct washdown. If the boat sees heavy vibration, route and support conductors so the terminals are not carrying cable weight.
Match the rated current to the conductor size and the expected load, and confirm the neutral switching arrangement matches how your AC distribution is wired. For safety and compliance, installation and testing should be handled by a qualified marine electrician following the applicable standards for your vessel and cruising area.
Use cases on board
This style of RCBO is a good match for refits where an Eikon-based AC panel is used for shore power branch circuits like outlets, water heaters, battery chargers, or galley appliances, and you want a single device per circuit rather than separate RCD and breaker hardware.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
