Overview
The Attwood Marine Honda Fuel Tank and Hose Fittings is a range of Honda-style fuel line connectors for matching the fuel hose, portable tank, or engine end of an outboard fuel system. The available fittings cover 3/8 inch I.D. fuel hose connections, a 1/4 inch male NPT tank thread, and engine-end hose attachment depending on the selected configuration.
These fittings are made for use with leaded, unleaded, ethanol-blended, and alcohol-blended fuels. The range includes chrome-plated brass options for large-bore 90HP+ Honda tank and hose connections, plus an acetal engine-end fitting for Honda outboard fuel hose setups.
Key features
- Honda fuel connector options for tank, hose, and engine-end fuel line connection points.
- 3/8 inch hose barb configuration available for fuel lines with 3/8 inch I.D. hose.
- 1/4 inch male NPT tank fitting available for large-bore 90HP+ Honda fuel tank applications.
- Chrome-plated brass variants support the tank and hose fittings used together on 90HP+ large-bore setups.
- Acetal engine-end variant fits the Honda engine-side hose connection and uses a rectangular locking post style.
- Compatible with leaded, unleaded, ethanol-blended, and alcohol-blended marine fuels.
Variants
This product is offered in three configurations so the connection point can match the fuel system layout on board.
The variants differ by fitting type, material, and application. The 8902-6 hose fitting and 8901-6 tank fitting are the matching large-bore 90HP+ chrome-plated brass pair, while the 8900-6 is the acetal engine-end hose fitting.
- 8902-6: Hose female fitting in chrome-plated brass for 90HP+ large-bore applications. This version fits 3/8 inch I.D. fuel hose and mates with the 8901-6 tank fitting.
- 8900-6: Hose female fitting in acetal for the engine end. This version is used at the Honda outboard side of the fuel hose and has the rectangular locking post style.
- 8901-6: Tank male fitting in chrome-plated brass for 90HP+ large-bore applications. This version uses a 1/4 inch male NPT thread and mates with the 8902-6 hose fitting.
Installation and fit
Match the fitting to the exact connection point before installation: hose female for the fuel line, tank male for the tank outlet, or engine-end hose female for the outboard connection. The hose barb versions are intended for 3/8 inch I.D. fuel hose, so the hose size should be confirmed before replacing an existing connector.
Threaded fuel fittings should be installed with fuel-compatible thread sealant on the threads. Hose clamps are not included, so the correct clamps for the fuel hose and installation method need to be supplied separately.
Use cases on board
This range is a practical match for replacing worn Honda fuel connectors, setting up a spare fuel line, or pairing a portable tank with the correct large-bore fitting. It suits small-boat and outboard installations where the buyer needs to match the connector location and fuel hose size rather than replace the full fuel system.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
