Overview

The Garmin 010-02682-00 is a 6 in chartplotter and fishfinder combo packaged with a GT54 transducer and built-in Garmin Navionics+ mapping for Canada inland and coastal waters.

It uses a WVGA touchscreen (800 x 480) with keyed assist, which helps when you are running in spray and still want quick, predictable zoom and waypoint control. The unit and cradle measure 206 x 131 x 67 mm, and the housing carries an IPX7 water rating for exposed helm installs.

Power input is 9 to 18 Vdc with an included 3 A fast-acting fuse. Sonar support covers single-channel CHIRP traditional sonar plus ClearVü and SideVü scanning, with 500 W RMS transmit power. The built-in charts cover more than 8,100 lakes with up to 1 ft contours, which is handy when you are following a breakline or easing into a shallow bay.

Installation and setup

You can mount it on the included tilt/swivel bracket for a simple helm install, or flush-mount it for a cleaner dash. For flush installs, plan for at least 118 mm of clearance behind the unit so the connectors and bend radius are not forced against the bulkhead.

Transducer placement matters more than most people expect. Give the GT54 clean water flow, keep it away from aeration and strakes where possible, and route the transducer cable away from ignition wiring and high-current conductors to reduce noise in the sonar picture.

Electrical and system integration

This unit runs on 9 to 18 Vdc, which lines up with standard 12 V systems. On 24 V boats, plan on a DC-DC converter rather than wiring it directly. The included 3 A fuse is meant to live close to the power source on the positive lead.

For networking, NMEA 2000 support lets you bring compatible data onto the screen, and the Garmin Marine Network port supports wired sharing and integration where used on your boat. Built-in Wi-Fi works for ActiveCaptain connectivity and for sharing sonar, waypoints, and routes with another compatible ECHOMAP UHD2.

It also supports LiveScope sonar systems, and it can connect wirelessly with compatible Force trolling motors for on-screen control functions and navigation features when you are fishing up front.

Use on board

This setup fits well on small to mid-size fishing boats, center consoles, and trailerable cruisers where a 6 in display is the right size at the helm. It is a practical choice for anglers who want scanning sonar and detailed inland contours in the same screen they use for coastal navigation in Canada.

Maintenance and care

Rinse salt spray off the screen and connectors with fresh water after runs, and use the protective cover when the boat is stored in direct sun. Keep software current through the app workflow, and use the microSD slot when you need to load additional mapping or move user data between devices.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
