Overview
The Vimar Arké 19015 is a flush-mounted, modular 2-pole 16 AX 250 V~ 1-way rocker switch with a replaceable button and optional illumination. It fits neatly into cabin and saloon switch banks where you want a clean wall-switch look for onboard AC circuits.
This switch is rated up to 16 A and supports up to 200 W for self-ballasted lamps, which is useful when switching modern AC lighting loads. With an IP40 front, it belongs in protected interior locations, not in areas exposed to spray, washdowns, or weather.
Key features
- 2-pole, 1-way switching for AC circuits up to 250 V~ and 16 AX.
- Supports up to 200 W for self-ballasted lamps.
- Lightable format for an optional locator/indicator light when you want switch visibility at night.
- Replaceable button so cosmetic wear can be refreshed without rewiring the mechanism.
- Flush-mount modular device with snap-in fastening and screw terminals for secure wiring in vibrating installations.
- IP40 protection level for sheltered interior panels and bulkhead plates.
Variants
This switch is offered in 1-module and 2-module formats to match the opening in your Arké support and cover plate. Finish options include grey, white, and Metal.
Selected grey and white versions are also available in antibacterial material. Across the range, the electrical function stays the same: 2-pole 16 AX 250 V~ 1-way switching with a lightable, replaceable button and IP40 protection.
Compatibility and fit
This is a Vimar Arké modular device, so the fit is dictated by the Arké mounting support, cover plate, and the module width already installed on your boat. Match the module size to your existing cutout and plate layout before ordering, especially when replacing a 1-module device with a 2-module device or vice versa.
Installation and wiring
The switch uses screw terminals and is intended for AC circuits up to 250 V~. Since it is a 2-pole device, it can switch two conductors together, which is often used on board when isolating a circuit at the switch point.
If you plan to use the illumination feature, allow for the extra wiring required by the chosen lamp accessory. In marine panels, keep wiring tidy with strain relief and ensure the back of the device sits in a dry, protected cavity.
Use on board
This switch suits interior AC switching where a standard rocker action is preferred, such as cabin lighting circuits, utility circuits fed from shore power, or inverter-supplied AC loads. It is a good match for refits where Arké devices are already used and you want consistent color and module sizing across the switch bank.
Maintenance and care
Wipe the exposed surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh solvents that can haze plastics. During periodic electrical checks, re-inspect terminal tightness and look for heat discoloration if the circuit is frequently run near its rating.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
