The short pole height keeps the light tidy on overhead mounting points where a taller removable pole is not practical. Installation and fit
This light suits boats with a dedicated overhead mounting point where a fixed all-round light makes more sense than a fold-down or plug-in pole. The narrow base is useful on bimini frames, arch plates, and hard top mounting pads, but it is worth checking surface thickness, wire routing, and lens clearance before drilling.
Because the lamp is a replaceable 9-watt wedge-base bulb, routine service is straightforward when the light output drops or the bulb reaches the end of its life. Mounting hardware is not included, so the installer can match the fasteners to the backing material and the structure on the boat.
