Overview

The Blue Sea Systems 1218 is a 360 Panel System combination circuit breaker panel with a 120V AC main section with 6 positions and a 12V DC main section with 19 positions. It brings AC and DC distribution together in one panel, which suits boats that need shore power circuits and a larger group of 12V house loads in the same electrical station.

This version includes an AC digital multi-function meter and a DC digital multi-function meter, along with factory-installed main and branch breakers on both sides of the panel. Overall size is 10.75 in high, 13.63 in wide, and 4.00 in deep, so it is worth checking panel depth, cable bend space, and rear access before cutting into a bulkhead or console face.

The AC side is set up with a double-pole 30A main and six 15A branch breakers. The DC side is set up with a 100A main and nineteen 15A branch breakers. For boats with a busy cabin or utility layout, that gives enough branch capacity for lighting, pumps, refrigeration, outlets, and electronics without splitting everything across separate panels.

Key features
  • 120V AC and 12V DC distribution combined in one 360 panel layout
  • 6 AC positions and 19 DC positions for boats with a higher branch circuit count
  • Includes AC Digital Multi-Function Meter 8247 and DC Digital Multi-Function Meter 8248
  • Factory-installed AC and DC buses are pre-wired to speed up panel installation
  • ON-indicating LEDs are installed in all circuit positions
  • Label backlighting is pre-installed for easier circuit identification in low light
  • Tin-plated copper bus bars help with conductivity and corrosion resistance in marine service
  • Open-frame modular construction leaves room for later changes within the 360 panel system
Compatibility and fit

This panel is built for boats with 120V AC service and a 12V DC distribution system. It fits installations where the owner or builder wants one finished panel for cabin AC loads and a broader group of DC loads instead of mixing separate breaker panels across different locations.

It is not the right match for 230V AC systems or 24V DC distribution. Before ordering, confirm the vessel voltage, the number of branch circuits needed now and later, and whether the mounting location can handle a 4.00 in panel depth plus wiring clearance behind the face panel.

Installation and setup

Because the buses are already installed and pre-wired, this panel cuts down setup work during a refit or new build. The modular 360 layout also makes sense when the electrical plan may change over time, since the panel starts with a finished structure instead of requiring a custom one-off build.

Main breaker selection still matters because AC and DC panel amperage follows the installed AC main and DC main breakers. This panel is a good fit for cruisers, sportfishing boats, and similar vessels where a single AC/DC distribution point keeps troubleshooting and service work more straightforward.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
