Overview
The Vimar Arké 19657 is a 7-module square cover plate that finishes off an Arké modular switch or outlet position and leaves you with a clean, flush look around the devices. It is sized for the 7-module format (210 x 90 mm) and mounts with clamp fixing onto the matching Arké support/frame.
This plate is a trim piece rather than a weather cover. With an IP00 rating, it belongs in protected locations on board such as cabins, saloons, nav stations, and inside enclosed panels, not on open decks where it will see washdowns or spray.
Key features
- 7-module plate format with a 210 x 90 mm footprint and 8.6 mm depth for standard Arké 7-module installations.
- Clamp fixing onto a compatible Arké 7-module support/frame (commonly referenced as 19617).
- Mounting direction supports both horizontal and vertical orientation, useful when matching existing cutouts and joinery layouts.
- IP00 rating, so it is intended for sheltered interior mounting locations rather than exposed cockpit or deck positions.
- Offered in a wide finish range, including technopolymer colors, metal and aluminium looks, brushed-style finishes, and antibacterial technopolymer options in select colors.
Variants
This cover plate is offered in many color and finish options so you can match surrounding panels, cabinetry, and other Arké fittings. The differences across the range are primarily the visible color and surface finish, with some options using technopolymer and others using metal or aluminium finishes depending on the selected look.
Across the 19657 7-module range, the plate size and fit stay consistent (210 x 90 mm, clamp fixing on the matching Arké 7-module support), so selection usually comes down to the appearance you want at the switch panel.
Compatibility and fit
This plate is meant for Vimar Arké modular installations in the 7-module format. It is not a universal wall plate, so confirm your system is built around Arké supports and Arké modular mechanisms before ordering.
Also confirm you have the correct 7-module support/frame behind the plate, and that your mounting surface has room for the full 210 x 90 mm outline. On boats, this is especially important when plates land near corner trims, grab rails, or cabinet doors.
Installation and setup
Install and secure the Arké support/frame and the modular mechanisms first, then fit the cover plate as the final finishing step. Clamp fixing means the plate seats onto the support with positive engagement, so it should sit flat without forcing it.
For service work later, plan for careful removal using a non-marring trim tool to avoid marking the finish, especially on metallic and brushed-look options.
Use on board
This plate is a good match for refits where you are standardizing on Vimar Arké modules for a consistent look across cabins, the galley, and the nav area. If you need switching in damp or exposed areas, use appropriate sealed devices or a protected enclosure and treat the cover plate as the interior trim piece it is.
Maintenance and care
Wipe with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents, which can dull matt surfaces and mark metallic finishes over time.

Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
