Overview
The Lumitec 112521 is a flush-mount LED down light with a white finish and two-color output (white and blue), with onboard dimming for 10-30 VDC systems.
White mode is 5000 K at 4 W with a CRI of 70+, and current draw is 300 mA at 12 VDC or 160 mA at 24 VDC. The housing is IP67 sealed and ignition protected, and the fixture is about 1.99 in wide with 0.72 in overall depth while keeping required mounting depth under 1/2 in for tight panels.
It fits cleanly into cabins, salons, staterooms, helm areas, and overhead mounting under a flybridge or hard top. It is suitable for interior and exterior mounting, but it is not intended for permanent underwater use.

Installation and setup
Use the provided mounting template to lay out the cutout and screw holes, then secure the mounting plate with the supplied screws. The light body seats into the plate and locks with a twist until it clicks; the included rubber tool can help if you need extra grip to fully seat it.
Like most high-output LED fixtures, it can get warm during operation. That is normal for fiberglass and wood mounting surfaces, but it should not be mounted on highly flammable materials or surfaces that cannot tolerate heat.
Electrical and switching
This light connects directly to the boat’s DC system and is polarity sensitive: black goes to negative (ground), and the white or red lead goes to the positive supply. Protect the circuit with an appropriately sized fuse or breaker based on the total load of all lights on that run.
Control works with a standard SPST on-off switch. In white mode, brightness ramps slowly; turning the switch off and back on locks the output at the level you want. A quick off-on toggle after the dimming stage changes to the alternate color, and leaving the switch off for about 2 seconds resets the light to white. Multiple lights can share a single switch circuit, and an off period of about 3 seconds resets a group if colors get out of sync.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm clearance behind the mounting surface and check the cutout against the supplied template before drilling. This model is a good match when you want a small, flush overhead light that runs on either 12 V or 24 V, with blue available for night runs and dimmed white for cabin comfort.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt film off after washdowns and wipe the lens with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh solvents on the lens and trim so the finish and sealing surfaces stay in good shape.
