Overview
The Attwood Marine HD2000 is a high-output non-automatic bilge pump for moving standing water from a boat bilge through a 1-1/8 inch hose connection. It is part of Attwood's heavy-duty HD2000 range, with installation data rating the pump at 1850 GPH open flow and 1390 GPH at 3 ft head.
This pump is a practical fit for boats that need strong bilge water transfer in a compact submersible pump body, including fishing boats, cruisers, work boats and larger recreational vessels. The anti-airlock nozzle helps vent trapped air in the discharge path, which is useful in real bilge layouts where hose routing is not always perfectly straight.
The HD2000 is offered in DC voltage configurations, so the selected version must match the vessel's bilge circuit before wiring. It can be used as part of a manual bilge system or integrated with a compatible automatic switch when the boat's setup calls for automatic operation.
Key features
- HD2000 heavy-duty bilge pump for removing standing water from the bilge.
- Rated pump performance of 1850 GPH open flow and 1390 GPH at 3 ft head in the installation data.
- 1-1/8 inch outlet hose size for use with smooth-bore bilge hose and a matching thru-hull fitting.
- Anti-airlock nozzle vents trapped air that can interrupt pump flow while helping limit spray streams.
- Rotating outlet, locking tab and swivel base allow eight mounting positions for tighter bilge spaces.
- Removable strainer basket gives access for cleaning debris from the impeller chamber and outlet.
- Exterior resin resists common bilge-area chemicals such as engine oil, detergents and hose plasticizers.
- Caulked and tinned copper wire helps reduce corrosion risk at the pump wiring leads.
Variants
This HD2000 pump is offered in multiple rated-voltage configurations for different boat electrical systems.
The rated voltage is the main difference between the listed variants. The HD2000 pump style, anti-airlock nozzle and 1-1/8 inch hose connection remain the practical points to confirm when comparing the configurations.
- 4760-1: Rated voltage 12V. This version fits boats using a 12V DC bilge circuit, which is common on many small and mid-size recreational vessels.
- 4760-4: Rated voltage 24V. This version fits boats using a 24V DC bilge circuit, so the pump feed, switch, fuse holder and wiring plan need to match that voltage.
Installation and fit
Install the pump in the lowest accessible part of the bilge so it can remove as much standing water as the hull layout allows. A short, direct discharge hose run is preferred, with the thru-hull outlet installed above the waterline where discharge can be monitored.
Use 1-1/8 inch inside-diameter smooth-bore hose and secure both hose ends with suitable clamps. Avoid low spots, kinks or downward dips in the discharge line, since trapped water and air in the hose can contribute to airlock and reduced flow.
Electrical and system integration
Bilge pump wiring should be kept above the highest expected water level wherever possible, with waterproof electrical connections and a fuse holder in the positive lead. The pump can be wired for manual operation through an on/off switch or used with a compatible automatic bilge switch when automatic operation is required.
Match the pump voltage to the boat's DC system before connecting power. A bilge pump on the wrong voltage circuit can fail or create an unsafe installation, so the voltage selection matters as much as the hose size and mounting location.
Maintenance and care
Check the strainer basket, impeller chamber and outlet during routine bilge inspections, especially after fishing, maintenance work or periods when debris may collect in the bilge. Hair, line, grit and small fragments can reduce flow if they reach the pump chamber.
This pump is intended for standing water only. It should not be used for gasoline, oil or other flammable liquids, and it should be treated as one part of a complete bilge safety plan rather than a substitute for hull maintenance, proper thru-hull care or emergency procedures.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch

For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
