Overview
The Hella Marine EuroLED130 is a 130 mm round surface-mount LED downlight that runs on Multivolt 9-33 V DC (12 V/24 V nominal). White output is 5000 K and draws 4.0 W (about 0.33 A at 12 V, 0.16 A at 24 V). The lamp is IP6K6/IP6K7 completely sealed, so it suits interior spaces and exposed areas where spray and washdowns are part of normal use.
This range covers simple on-off lighting and versions with touch control on the lamp face. Dual-colour options add a second colour alongside white (red or blue), which is useful when you want light on board without the full glare of white at night.
Key features
- Multivolt 9-33 V DC input for 12 V and 24 V systems
- 4.0 W white output (about 0.33 A at 12 V, 0.16 A at 24 V)
- 5000 K white light for a neutral, daylight look
- IP6K6/IP6K7 completely sealed housing and cable entry for wet locations
- UV resistant enhanced impact acrylic lens and housing with a heavy duty nylon shroud
- Surface-mount footprint: 130 mm round lamp with fasteners on 110 mm centres
- Low EMC noise to help avoid interference with onboard radio communications
- Touch Switch models use sealed touch pads; dual-colour versions add dimming and last-level memory
Variants
EuroLED130 is offered in Standard and Touch Switch versions, with black or white housings.
Light colour options across the range include white only, white and red, and white and blue. Touch Switch versions can be operated at the lamp, and dual-colour models also support remote momentary switching using the third control wire.
Installation and setup
This is a surface-mount lamp intended for flat panels such as cabin headliners, hardtops, cockpits, lockers, and bulkheads. Mounting uses two fasteners on 110 mm centres; 5 mm screws or bolts are typically used and are not supplied. If you pass the cable through a drilled hole, keep edges smooth so the insulation cannot chafe over time.
The shroud clips over the lamp body and should be pressed on until it sits flush. When mounting multiple lamps close together, leaving a small gap between housings makes future removal easier.
Electrical and control notes
Plan for a 2 A maximum fuse on the supply. The LED module is polarity conscious, so a reversed connection will stop the lamp from operating even though the unit is protected against reverse polarity and voltage spikes.
Standard versions are switched from your existing lighting circuit. Touch Switch versions provide on-lamp control, and dual-colour Touch models use an external momentary on-off-on style switch if you want remote control from a panel location.
Use on board
White-only versions are a good match for general cabin lighting, heads, and under-hardtop lighting where you want clean 5000 K illumination without taking extra space for a recessed fixture. Dual-colour versions suit night running and late dockside work, since red or blue light can be used when you want lower glare and less disruption to night vision.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt off the lens and shroud with fresh water when needed. For cleaning, use mild soap and water and avoid harsh solvents that can haze acrylic. Periodically check the cable run and the mounting fasteners in high-vibration locations.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
