Overview
The Garmin 010-11613-10 is a wire block adapter that lets you connect a compatible bare wire transducer to a Garmin 12-pin sounder connector. It gives you a clean place to terminate transducer conductors inside a compact adapter box, then runs to your sounder port on a 61 cm (24 in) cable.
The housing measures 59.1 x 48.97 x 104 mm (2.3 x 1.9 x 4.1 in) and carries an IEC 60529 IPX7 water rating for incidental exposure (up to 1 m for up to 30 minutes). It is meant to be mounted where it will not be submerged.
This adapter is also used when you need to re-terminate a compatible 6-pin, 8-pin, or 12-pin transducer by removing the original connector and landing the individual conductors on the internal wire block.
Key features
- Connects a compatible bare wire transducer to a Garmin 12-pin sounder connector using internal screw terminals
- Supports re-terminating compatible 6-pin, 8-pin, or 12-pin transducer cables by wiring the conductors to the block
- 61 cm (24 in) adapter cable between the housing and the 12-pin sounder plug
- IEC 60529 IPX7 water rating for incidental exposure; intended for mounting where it will not be submerged
- Compact enclosure size: 59.1 x 48.97 x 104 mm (2.3 x 1.9 x 4.1 in)
- Compatible devices include GPSMAP 7607xsv, 7608xsv, 7610xsv, 7612xsv, 7616xsv, and the GSD 25 Premium Sonar Module
Compatibility and fit
Confirm your display or sonar module has a Garmin 12-pin sounder connector before ordering. On the transducer side, this adapter depends on being able to identify the individual conductors for your specific transducer so they can be landed on the correct terminals inside the housing.
Water speed wheels are not supported on the 12-pin sounder connector, so paddlewheel speed signals will not be carried through this connection.
Installation and wiring notes
Mount the adapter box in a protected location and keep it out of bilge areas or anywhere it could sit underwater. A mounting location at least 15.25 cm (6 in) away from electrical interference sources, such as motors, helps avoid sonar noise in real-world installations.
For wiring, the transducer cable is routed through the housing and terminated at the internal wire block. Typical prep is stripping about 90 mm (3.5 in) of the outer jacket and about 6 mm (0.25 in) of insulation on each conductor before tightening the terminals. If the transducer has no temperature capability (or a separate temperature sensor is not used), a jumper between terminals 1 and 2 is required.
Use on board
This adapter is a practical fit for refits and repowers where you are keeping a compatible transducer but moving to a Garmin sounder connection that uses the 12-pin interface. It is also useful when you want the termination point inside the console or electronics space to stay organized and serviceable without pulling a long transducer run each time you swap displays.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
