Overview

The Garmin Navionics Bay of Biscay chart is an electronic chart package for compatible Garmin chartplotters, covering the Atlantic coast of Europe from Dunkirk, France to A Coruna, Spain, including the Channel Islands.

This region includes major ports and approaches such as Le Havre, Brest, Nantes, Saint-Nazaire and Bordeaux in France, plus Bilbao and Gijon in Spain. Contour detail can display up to 1 ft (0.5 m) where available, which helps when you are working structure for fishing or trying to read shoals and channels on coastal runs.

A one-year subscription is included for chart updates and downloadable content through the ActiveCaptain app. Auto Guidance+ can calculate a suggested dock-to-dock path using your set depth and overhead clearance alongside chart data and frequently traveled routes.

Key features
  • Bay of Biscay coverage area: Atlantic coast from Dunkirk, France to A Coruna, Spain, including the Channel Islands and key French and Spanish ports
  • One-year chart subscription included for daily updates and downloadable chart content through the ActiveCaptain app
  • Auto Guidance+ routing support using your desired depth and overhead clearance for dock-to-dock route suggestions
  • Up to 1 ft (0.5 m) contours where available for clearer bottom structure and more precise nearshore detail
  • Depth range shading with up to 10 selectable shaded depth ranges, plus user-defined shallow water shading for quick risk checks
  • Navionics Vision+ versions add extra visual layers such as high-resolution relief shading, satellite imagery overlays, 3D views and aerial photos where available
Variants

This product is offered in two versions (Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+) and in two delivery formats (microSD/SD card or download).

All options cover the same Bay of Biscay region; the difference is the chart feature set between Navionics+ and Vision+, and whether you want a physical card or a digital download workflow.

  • 010-C1235-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format microSD/SD. A physical card fits plotters that accept microSD or SD media and is straightforward to move between compatible units.
  • 010-D1837-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format Download. Download delivery avoids handling a card and uses the chart download and update workflow tied to your ActiveCaptain setup.
  • 010-C1235-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format microSD/SD. Adds extra visual layers such as relief shading and satellite imagery overlays, with 3D views and photos where available, while keeping the convenience of a card.
  • 010-D1837-00: Version Garmin Navionics Vision+; Format Download. The premium Vision+ layers are delivered through a download workflow for chart management and updates through your ActiveCaptain setup.
Compatibility and fit

These charts are intended for use on compatible Garmin chartplotters. Before ordering, confirm your display supports Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ cartography and that you have the right media slot (microSD or SD) if selecting a card format.

For route planning and depth-based features, make sure your boat profile settings on the chartplotter are current, including draft and any overhead clearance you want the routing tool to consider.

Updates and on-board use

With an active subscription, updates and additional chart layers are obtained through the ActiveCaptain app. Content downloaded during the subscription period remains available on your card or installed chart storage, but no new downloads are available after the subscription expires unless it is renewed.

This is a good match for skippers running Garmin electronics along the French Atlantic coast and northern Spain who want current chart detail for harbor approaches, coastal passages and structure-focused fishing.

Routing note

Auto Guidance+ route suggestions are for planning purposes only and do not replace safe navigation practices, local knowledge and prudent watchkeeping.

We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
