Overview
The Garmin 010-13248-01 is a trolling motor barrel mount that secures an LVS62 transducer to the round housing of your trolling motor so the sonar stays pointed where you set it.
The clamp-style attachment works across common barrel diameters, including many Minn Kota and MotorGuide motors. The molded teeth give you positive adjustment when setting the transducer angle, which helps it stay put through steering movement, vibration, and chop. When the LVS62 is mounted on the barrel, it supports forward and down views; perspective view uses a different mounting approach.
Key features
- Barrel-mount solution for Garmin LVS62 transducer installations on a trolling motor
- Fits a range of trolling motor barrel diameters, including popular Minn Kota and MotorGuide models
- Molded teeth help hold the selected transducer angle after you tighten it down
- Can be positioned on either side of the trolling motor barrel to suit your routing and clearance needs
- Angle can be re-set without having to re-mount the entire bracket
Installation and setup
Test-fit the mount location with the trolling motor fully deployed and fully stowed. You want clearance from the prop, skeg, and any lift-assist or stabilizer parts, and you also want the transducer and cable to stay clear while steering hard over.
After the mount is secured, set the transducer angle, tighten it down, and then secure the cable to the shaft so the cable cannot swing into the prop. Leave enough slack for stow and deploy, and avoid any pinch points where the motor head rotates or the mount brackets fold.
Compatibility and fit
This mount is intended for use with the LVS62 transducer. Confirm you have a round barrel section to clamp to and enough flat area for the transducer to sit without interference.
If you plan to run perspective view, plan on a different mounting style. Barrel mounting is a practical choice when you want forward and down views from the trolling motor without adding a separate pole.
Maintenance and care
After saltwater use, rinse the mount area with fresh water to flush out salt and grit around the adjustment teeth and clamp. Periodically re-check tightness, especially after trailering or the first few hours on the water.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
