Overview
The Garmin ECHOMAP UHD Boat Kit is a hardware-and-transducer package that lets you move a compatible ECHOMAP UHD combo onto a boat setup with a 6-inch or 7-inch display option, depending on the configuration. Sonar capability varies by version, covering ClearVü and traditional CHIRP, with an option that also includes SideVü.
Each kit is built around a tilt/swivel bail mount with a quick-release cradle, plus an ECHOMAP power/data cable and a transom-mount transducer matched to the sonar type listed for that kit. If you are converting from a portable or ice setup, this gives you the mounting and transducer side of the boat install in one box.
This is a good match for anglers who run an ECHOMAP UHD combo in winter and want a clean summer install on a skiff, aluminum boat, bass boat, or smaller offshore rig where you may remove the display at the dock or when trailering.
Key features
- Boat-mount hardware for compatible ECHOMAP UHD cv and sv combos, with a tilt/swivel bail mount and quick-release cradle.
- Quick-release cradle supports regular removal for storage, trailering, or swapping between boats.
- Includes an ECHOMAP power/data cable for hardwiring to onboard DC power per your display’s wiring requirements.
- Includes a transom-mount transducer; configurations cover traditional CHIRP with ClearVü, and one option includes SideVü as well.
- 6-inch cv configuration includes a 4-pin to 8-pin transducer adapter cable for the transducer connection.
- Configuration-specific compatibility with ECHOMAP UHD 62cv, 63cv, 64cv, 65cv; 72cv, 73cv, 74cv, 75cv; and 72sv, 73sv, 74sv, 75sv (varies by kit).
Variants
This product is offered in multiple configurations that differ by display size and sonar type.
The mounting approach stays the same across the range, while the included transducer and any adapter cable follow the sonar capability listed for each configuration.
- 020-00200-20: Display size 6 inches; sonar type ClearVü and traditional CHIRP. This version includes a 4-pin to 8-pin transducer adapter cable for the transducer connection.
- 020-00200-21: Display size 7 inches; sonar type ClearVü and traditional CHIRP. This setup keeps the focus on CHIRP and ClearVü for bottom detail and structure when fishing inshore or on lakes.
- 020-00200-22: Display size 7 inches; sonar type SideVü, ClearVü and traditional CHIRP. SideVü is useful when you want coverage to both sides while idling along breaks, docks, or ledges.
Compatibility and fit
Match the kit to your ECHOMAP UHD family first. The 6-inch cv boat kit lists compatibility with ECHOMAP UHD 62cv, 63cv, 64cv, and 65cv. The 7-inch cv boat kit lists compatibility with ECHOMAP UHD 72cv, 73cv, 74cv, and 75cv. The 7-inch sv boat kit lists compatibility with ECHOMAP UHD 72sv, 73sv, 74sv, and 75sv.
Before ordering, confirm your display’s suffix (cv vs sv) and screen size so the transducer and cradle match what you are installing.
Installation and setup
Plan the mount location where the screen is easy to reach and the bracket can swing without hitting rails or a windshield. Route the power/data cable away from ignition wiring and other sources of electrical noise, and leave enough slack at the cradle for tilt and removal.
The included transducer is a transom-mount style. Mount it on a clean running surface with a clear line to the water, then route the cable up high and dry with drip loops at entry points. If your kit includes a 4-pin to 8-pin adapter, connect it at the display end where it stays protected and easy to service.
Maintenance and care
After saltwater runs, a quick rinse around the bracket and a wipe-down of cable connections helps keep things clean. Recheck mounting fasteners after the first few trips and anytime the boat takes heavy pounding in chop.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
