Overview

The Raymarine R70651 is a transom mount bracket for the Raymarine HV-100 HyperVision transducer, used when mounting the transducer on the back of the hull. It is a practical replacement or secondary bracket for boats already using an HV-100 setup, especially when the original transom hardware is worn, missing, or being moved to a new installation point.

This bracket helps hold the HV-100 in the correct transom position so the transducer can maintain steady contact with clean water flow. That matters on fishing boats, small cruisers, and trailer boats where vibration, spray, and repeated launch-and-retrieve use can put extra stress on exterior-mounted sonar hardware.

Key features
  • Made for Raymarine HV-100 HyperVision transducers used in transom-mount installations.
  • Works as a replacement or secondary transom bracket when refreshing or relocating an existing HV-100 setup.
  • Mounts the transducer at the stern, where correct angle and placement are important for stable sonar readings.
  • Useful for boats that see regular trailering, fishing trips, and washdowns where exposed mounting hardware takes daily wear.
  • Transducer is not included, so this part is intended for installations where the HV-100 transducer is already on hand.
Installation and setup

Install the bracket on a solid section of the transom where the HV-100 can sit in clean water flow and remain clear of heavy turbulence from strakes, steps, through-hull fittings, or prop wash. Final placement should allow the transducer angle to be adjusted so the face runs correctly relative to the hull while the boat is underway.

Before drilling, check the inside of the transom for wiring, tanks, flotation, and other hidden obstructions. Use sealant suitable for below-splashline marine hardware, and tighten the fasteners evenly so the bracket sits flat without distorting the mounting surface.

Compatibility and fit

This bracket is for the Raymarine HV-100 transducer. It is not a universal transducer bracket and should not be matched by appearance alone. Owners replacing damaged hardware should confirm that their transducer is the HV-100 model before ordering.

It is a good match for boaters keeping an Element HV or HV-100 based sonar system in service and needing the transom mount hardware rather than a new transducer. For refits, it also gives installers a clean way to remount an existing HV-100 after hull work, electronics upgrades, or a stern layout change.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
