The Garmin 010-12100-00 is a zippered carrying case for 5-inch zumo GPS units, with a thermo-molded outer shell and a padded interior to help protect the device while it is off the mount.

On a boat, it is a simple way to keep a removable GPS unit from getting scuffed by other gear when you stow it in a helm drawer, nav table, or a day bag for dock runs and trailering. It also helps reduce knocks and pressure marks when the unit rides in a locker with tools, keys, or tackle.

Compatibility and fit

This case is sized specifically for 5-inch zumo units and is compatible with zumo 345LM, 346LMT-S, 395LM, 396LMT-S, 590LM, and 595LM. It is not sized for larger-screen zumo models.

Use and storage on board

After removing the zumo from its cradle, wipe off any spray or grime before stowing it. The case keeps the screen from rubbing against hard items in a cockpit bag or electronics drawer and helps protect the unit when it is being moved between boat, truck, and dock.

If your storage area can get wet, keep the case in a drier compartment or inside a separate dry bag. Let the device and case dry before long-term storage to avoid trapping moisture.
