With other lamp types, it can be wired in parallel with the load so both illuminate together, or connected directly to the main supply when a permanent indicator is needed.

This is a good match for boats that already use compatible Vimar switching hardware and want a tidy indication point without adding a separate lamp body. On mixed-voltage vessels, the variant choice should follow the exact circuit the indicator will monitor.
