Overview
The Vimar LED RGB Driver is a constant-voltage driver for RGB LED modules with selectable 12 or 24 VDC output, up to 1.7 A output current, and 24 W output power.
This product family is offered in two AC input versions: 120V 60Hz and 230V 50Hz. It works with RGB and FADING-SHOW dimmers, so it fits lighting systems that need color control and dimming without changing the low-voltage side of the installation.
For marine use, this is an interior unit. The housing is plastic, the protection rating is IP20, and the protection class is II. At 218 x 60.5 x 36.6 mm, it is better suited to a dry, protected space such as a cabin lighting void, locker, or electrical panel area rather than any exposed location.
Key features
- Selectable 12 or 24 VDC constant-voltage output for RGB LED modules
- Up to 1.7 A output current with 24 W output power
- Works with RGB and FADING-SHOW dimmers for color and dimming control
- Available in 120V 60Hz and 230V 50Hz input versions
- IP20, Class II construction for protected interior installations
- 218 x 60.5 x 36.6 mm housing for mounting in enclosed electrical spaces
Variants
This product is offered in two input-power configurations.
The difference between variants is the AC mains input and frequency. The 12 to 24 VDC output range, output current up to 1.7 A, 24 W output power, IP20 rating, Class II construction, and overall dimensions remain the same across both versions.
- VM01876.120: Power 120V 60Hz. This version matches vessels or shore-power installations built around 120V AC service while keeping the same low-voltage output format for RGB LED modules.
- VM01876: Power 230V 50Hz. This version matches 230V AC systems and keeps the same 12 or 24 VDC output side for the connected RGB lighting load.
Installation and fit
This driver is a fit for RGB lighting circuits that use constant-voltage LED modules on 12 VDC or 24 VDC. Before installation, the LED load and control setup should be checked against the selected output voltage and the dimmer type in the circuit.
Because the enclosure is IP20, it should be mounted in a dry location with protection from spray, washdowns, and weather. On a boat, that usually means interior joinery spaces, helm consoles with sealed backs, or protected service compartments used for lighting control gear.
Use on board
This driver makes the most sense for cabin, saloon, berth, or other protected interior RGB lighting where variable color and dimming are part of the system. It is a good match for boats that already have compatible Vimar lighting controls and need a low-voltage RGB driver that can be aligned with either 120V or 230V AC input power.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
