Overview

The Garmin 010-02114-50 is a 12.1-inch keyed-assist touchscreen chartplotter/fishfinder display that comes preloaded with Garmin Navionics+ inland and coastal mapping for the United States and Coastal Canada. It runs on 9 to 18 Vdc, uses a WXGA 1280 x 800 display, and carries an IEC 60529 IPX7 water rating for spray and washdowns at the helm.

This package ships without a transducer. When paired with a compatible transducer, the unit supports traditional CHIRP sonar along with ClearVü and SideVü scanning. Two microSD card slots (32 GB max card size) give you room for extra chart cards, updates, and moving user data between units.

For integration on a rigged boat, it connects to both NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 and includes built-in Wi-Fi for pairing with the ActiveCaptain app. The large screen works well for split views, so you can keep a chart up while watching sonar, tracking a saved route, or marking structure while you fish.

Key features
  • 12.1-inch keyed-assist touchscreen with dedicated zoom keys and four shortcut keys for quick page access
  • WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution for clear chart and sonar views, including multi-panel combination pages
  • Preloaded Garmin Navionics+ inland and coastal mapping for the United States and Coastal Canada (1-year subscription included)
  • Built-in support for traditional CHIRP, ClearVü, and SideVü scanning sonar with a compatible transducer; no transducer included
  • IEC 60529 IPX7 water rating and operating temperature range from -15 C to 55 C
  • Power input from 9 to 18 Vdc with an 8 A fuse requirement
  • NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity plus built-in Wi-Fi for ActiveCaptain features and wireless sharing
  • Two microSD card slots with support for up to 32 GB card size
Installation and setup

The 12-inch chassis measures 34.1 x 22.9 x 9.8 cm (13.4 x 9.0 x 3.9 in.), so it helps to confirm panel space and cable routing before cutting for a flush mount. Plan on about 150 mm (6 in.) of clearance behind the unit for connectors and bend radius. A cradle/bail mount is also included for installs where you want the display angled up and easy to remove when you leave the boat.

For compass accuracy, keep the display at least 65 cm (25.6 in.) from a magnetic compass, and avoid bundling transducer and network runs alongside high-current wiring when you can.

Electrical and system integration

Power the unit from a switched 12 V supply that stays within the 9 to 18 Vdc input range. The power lead uses an in-line 8 A fuse, and the unit can draw up to 34 W depending on operating conditions and connected accessories.

NMEA 2000 support covers common helm integration such as engine data, sensors, and autopilot control with compatible equipment. NMEA 0183 wiring supports typical serial connections, including VHF DSC position sharing when paired with a compatible radio.

Sonar and network connections

Since a transducer is not included, your sonar performance depends on selecting the right transducer and mounting it correctly for your hull. The chartplotter includes a 12-pin transducer port and comes with a 12-pin to 8-pin transducer adapter cable for compatible transducers. It also supports Panoptix LiveScope when you add the required LiveScope components.

Built-in Wi-Fi supports ActiveCaptain functions like syncing user data and managing updates. In multi-display setups, it can share sonar, waypoints, routes, and maps with other compatible ECHOMAP units when your system is set up for sharing.

Use on board

This is a good fit for skippers and anglers who want a full-size display at the helm or on a larger console, where quick reads of chart detail and split-screen sonar matter. It also makes sense on boats that already have NMEA gear installed and want one screen to pull navigation, sonar, and network data together.

Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
