Overview
The B&G 000-13561-001 is a Triton2 pilot controller and digital display pack that puts autopilot control and key sailing data on a dedicated helm interface over NMEA 2000. It combines a 4.1-inch full-color Triton2 display with an optically bonded, transflective LCD and a matching Triton2 pilot keypad that connects with a Micro-C fitting.
The display is built to stay readable in sun and at night, and the optical bonding prevents the fogging that can happen with damp cockpit air. On the same network, it can show instrument and navigation data such as wind, speed, depth, heading, GPS information, AIS targets, and autopilot status when those data sources are available.
The pilot controller is powered from the network (9 to 16 V), draws 3 LEN, and uses 0.54 W with the key backlight off and up to 1.35 W at maximum backlight. It is rated IPX7 and sized for a standard instrument panel footprint (60 x 115 x 35 mm), while the display body is 118 x 115 x 36 mm for planning panel space behind the mounting surface.
Key features
- Pack combines the Triton2 4.1-inch color display and the Triton2 pilot controller keypad for an integrated instrument and autopilot interface.
- Optically bonded, transflective 4.1-inch LCD stays clear and resists condensation while keeping contrast high in bright daylight.
- NMEA 2000 certified networking with Micro-C connection for data and power through the backbone.
- Pilot controller is IPX7 rated for cockpit mounting where spray and washdowns are expected.
- Tactile keypad layout supports Standby and Auto control plus course changes in 1-degree and 10-degree steps.
- Wind and Navigation mode access from the keypad, with tack and gybe control available when configured for sailing.
- Pilot controller electrical load is 3 LEN with 9 to 16 V network supply, and 0.54 to 1.35 W power use depending on backlight level.
Compatibility and system integration
This pack is meant for boats running an NMEA 2000 backbone with the right sensors and navigation sources on the network. The display can only show what the network provides, so wind, depth, speed, GPS, AIS, and pilot information depend on having those devices connected and configured.
Confirm your network power is within 9 to 16 V for the pilot controller, and make sure the backbone is correctly terminated and powered for the total LEN load of your system.
Installation and setup
Both units are built for front-panel mounting at the helm or nav station, with a low-profile look that stays out of the way of sheets and lines. Plan cable routing so the NMEA 2000 drop run follows standard limits (a single drop up to 6 m) and keep connectors supported so vibration does not work them loose over time.
Allow clearance behind the panel for the housings and cabling, and keep the pilot controller at least 300 mm away from a magnetic compass to avoid interference.
Use cases on board
This setup fits sailboats that want a dedicated pilot keypad in the cockpit and a clear instrument-style screen that stays readable on long coastal legs, night passages, or short-handed sailing. It also suits boats where the helm needs quick pilot access without leaning over a chartplotter to make small heading changes.
Maintenance and care
Rinse off salt buildup with fresh water and avoid harsh solvents on the display lens and keypad. If you are installing in a high-spray area, check the panel seal and fasteners during routine service so the mounting stays tight and water does not work behind the cutout.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
