Overview

The Garmin 010-02111-00\LVS34 is a 10 inch chartplotter and fishfinder bundle that pairs an ECHOMAP Ultra 102sv display with a Panoptix LiveScope Plus LVS34 transducer kit for real-time sonar views.

At the helm, you get a 10 inch keyed-assist touchscreen with a 1280 x 800 WXGA IPS display, a worldwide basemap, and an IPX7 water rating. The case measures 11.6 x 7.7 x 3.9 inches and supports bail or flush mounting, so it fits cleanly on a console, electronics box, or bracket mount.

Networking is where this combo earns its keep on a boat. The unit has two Garmin Marine Network ports plus NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 in/out for tying into common marine systems. LiveScope Plus uses a compatible GLS 10 sonar module between the display and the LVS34 transducer, and the LVS34 kit supports Forward, Down, and Perspective views.

Key features
  • 10 inch keyed-assist touchscreen with 1280 x 800 WXGA IPS resolution for readable charts and sonar detail.
  • IPX7 water rating with bail or flush mounting for open-console installs.
  • Two Garmin Marine Network ports for LiveScope integration and sharing sonar, charts, and user data with compatible displays.
  • NMEA 2000 plus NMEA 0183 input and output for integrating sensors, engine data, radios, and other onboard electronics.
  • Quickdraw Contours mapping with 1 foot contours as you record sonar data.
  • Panoptix LVS34 LiveScope Plus transducer kit supports Forward, Down, and Perspective modes and works with a compatible GLS 10 sonar module (not included).
Installation and setup

The included tilt mount with quick-release cradle keeps day-to-day removal simple because the cables stay with the mount. If you flush-mount, plan space behind the panel for the 11.6 x 7.7 x 3.9 inch housing and for clean cable routing.

The LVS34 kit includes mounts for Perspective mode, trolling motor barrel mounting, and shaft mounting. On a boat that sees chop, it helps to mount the transducer where it stays rigid and where the cable can be routed away from moving steering linkages or trolling-motor pivots.

Electrical and system integration

Power the display using the included power/data cable, then use NMEA 2000 when you want a backbone connection for items like heading sensors, engine gateways, autopilot control, or audio integration. NMEA 0183 in and out is there for older devices that still rely on point-to-point wiring.

LiveScope Plus is carried over the marine network to a compatible GLS 10 sonar module, then to the LVS34 transducer. With two network ports on the display, it is easier to add LiveScope hardware while still leaving room to network another compatible unit on the same boat.

Sonar and mapping notes

This display can run traditional CHIRP and scanning sonar when paired with a compatible transducer (sold separately). Quickdraw Contours records your soundings and draws 1 foot contours on the fly, which is useful when you are dialing in a local reef line, a river ledge, or a shallow back-bay channel over time.

Who it suits

This bundle is a strong fit for anglers who want a 10 inch helm display with networking and plan to run LiveScope Plus views using the LVS34 transducer kit. It also makes sense on multi-display boats where sharing sonar and chart data over the Garmin Marine Network is part of the layout.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
