Overview
The Garmin 010-02582-60 is the quatix 7 Sapphire Edition marine GPS smartwatch with a 47 mm case, a 1.3 inch always-on AMOLED display (416 x 416 pixels), and a 10 ATM water rating (100 m). It runs on a rechargeable, built-in lithium-ion battery rated up to 16 days in smartwatch mode with gesture wake or up to 6 days with the display always on, and GPS-only mode is rated up to 42 hours (up to 30 hours always on).
On board, it pairs with compatible Garmin chartplotters for MFD Remote control from your wrist, Boat Data streaming screens, and the ability to mark a waypoint on the plotter without leaving what you are doing. It also supports autopilot control when paired to a compatible Garmin autopilot helm control, and it includes a Fusion-Link app for controlling a compatible Fusion stereo.
This watch makes sense for skippers and crew who move around the boat and still want quick access to key helm functions, plus sailors who use tools like tack assist, sail racing timing, tides, and anchor tracking.
Key features
- 47 mm case with a 1.3 inch always-on AMOLED touchscreen (416 x 416 pixels) plus physical buttons for wet hands and motion.
- 10 ATM water rating (100 m) for swimming and everyday exposure on deck.
- Sapphire crystal lens with a titanium bezel and a fiber-reinforced polymer case with a titanium rear cover.
- Battery ratings: up to 16 days smartwatch (gesture wake) or up to 6 days (always-on), up to 21 days in battery saver watch mode, and up to 42 hours GPS-only (up to 30 hours always-on).
- MFD Remote control for compatible Garmin chartplotters, including menu navigation from the watch.
- Boat Data streaming from a compatible chartplotter with up to 3 data fields per page and up to 6 pages, plus plotter waypoint marking from the watch.
- Autopilot control when paired with a compatible Garmin autopilot helm control, including heading changes and standby.
- Fusion-Link app control for a compatible Fusion stereo, with initial pairing performed within about 3 m (10 ft).
Marine connectivity and setup
Pairing is handled through the marine apps on the watch. For first-time setup, bring the watch close to the marine device (about 3 m or 10 ft) and place the chartplotter, autopilot helm control, or stereo into pairing or discoverable mode as appropriate. Once paired, connections re-establish automatically when the devices are on, in range, and the relevant app is open on the watch.
If you are planning to use helm control features, confirm the exact Garmin equipment on your boat is compatible with the quatix marine apps you intend to use. The watch can still be used as a standalone GPS smartwatch even when you are away from the boat.
Sailing and on-water tools
The watch includes sailing-focused features such as tack assist, which uses GPS-based course over ground to help indicate lift and header while cruising or racing upwind. For sail racing, it supports a regatta timer workflow with start line setup using GPS so you can time the approach to the line more precisely.
Tide information and alerts are built in for quick checks before a shallow entrance or a long day at anchor. The anchor app can be used to mark your anchor location for situational awareness when you are off the bow or back in the cockpit.
Battery, charging, and daily wear on a boat
If you keep the display always on, plan around the shorter rating compared to gesture wake. Battery saver watch mode can stretch time between charges when you are cruising and do not need constant connectivity.
For best results, charge within 0 to 45 C, and keep the watch within its operating and storage range of -20 to 45 C. After salt spray, a quick rinse with fresh water and a dry-down helps keep the case and band clean for everyday wear.

We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
