Overview

The Garmin 010-02111-00 is the ECHOMAP Ultra 102sv chartplotter and fishfinder combo with a 10 in. keyed-assist touchscreen (1280 x 800) for navigation and sonar at the helm.

It runs on 9 to 18 Vdc and is typically 2.8 A at 12 Vdc, which fits cleanly into most 12 V boats with an 8 A fuse and a dedicated power run. The housing is rated IPX7, and the display supports polarized sunglasses for easier reading in bright conditions.

This version is supplied without a transducer, so you can match the sonar hardware to your hull style and the fishing you do. The unit has a built-in 600 W RMS sounder and supports CHIRP traditional, CHIRP ClearVü, and CHIRP SideVü, with Ultra High-Definition scanning available when paired with a compatible transducer.

Key features
  • 10 in. keyed-assist touchscreen with 1280 x 800 resolution and polarized-sunglasses support.
  • 12 V friendly power requirements: 9 to 18 Vdc input, typical 2.8 A at 12 Vdc, and an 8 A fuse.
  • IPX7 water rating for incidental spray and washdown exposure.
  • Built-in 600 W RMS sonar with support for CHIRP traditional plus CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü.
  • Support for Ultra High-Definition ClearVü (800 kHz) and Ultra High-Definition SideVü (1,200 kHz) with compatible UHD transducers.
  • Two dedicated sonar connections: one 12-pin scanning transducer port and one LVS sonar port for compatible live sonar systems.
  • Two Garmin Marine Network ports (large connector) for networking compatible displays and accessories.
  • NMEA 2000 compatibility plus NMEA 0183 input and output for integrating with common onboard electronics.
  • Built-in Wi-Fi for ActiveCaptain pairing, software updates, and data transfer when used with a microSD card.
  • Two microSD card slots (up to 32 GB) for maps, updates, and saved data.
Installation and setup

Overall size is 11.6 x 7.7 x 3.9 in., and it helps to leave about 6 in. of clearance behind the unit for connectors and cable bend radius. The display can be bail mounted on a console or flush mounted into a dash panel, depending on your helm layout.

Because the power input range tops out at 18 Vdc, 24 V systems will need an appropriate DC-DC converter to stay within spec. When wiring at the helm in saltwater environments, keeping connectors supported and capping unused ports helps prevent corrosion over time.

Connectivity and system integration

Use the NMEA 2000 port to bring in sensor data such as heading, wind, depth, engine, or fuel information from compatible devices, and use NMEA 0183 input and output when you need to interface with older gear.

With two Garmin Marine Network ports, you can network compatible Garmin displays and share items like sonar data, waypoints, and routes across the network.

Charts, mapping, and sonar selection

A worldwide basemap is built in for general orientation, and the dual microSD slots let you add detailed cartography and keep an update card in place for an ActiveCaptain workflow.

Quickdraw Contours can record your own maps as you run and draws 1 ft contours on screen when conditions allow. Since this package does not include a transducer, confirm the connection you plan to use: the 12-pin port is for scanning transducers and the LVS port is for compatible live sonar gear.

Use cases on board

This unit fits well on center consoles, bass boats, and multi-station rigs where a 10 in. display works at the helm and you want one screen for navigation and fishfinding.

It also makes sense when you already have a preferred transducer or when you plan to add live sonar later and want the dedicated LVS connection ready.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
