Overview
The Vimar Neve Up is a 2P+E 16 A USA+EU SICURY outlet for AC installations that need a polarized Euro-American socket format in a compact 2-module device. It is rated at 250 V and 50 to 60 Hz, with a body size of 44.8 x 47 x 36 mm for flush mounting in tight panel spaces.
On a boat, this type of outlet makes sense on the AC side of the system, after shore power or inverter distribution, where crew need a neat wall or panel outlet inside the cabin, galley, or saloon. The format suits protected interior areas where a flush finish matters and where a 12 V or 24 V accessory socket would not be the right part.
The range is offered in white and black finishes, so the outlet can match lighter cabin joinery or darker switch panels without changing the electrical rating.
Key features
- Polarized USA+EU 2P+E SICURY socket format for installations that use Euro-American plugs
- 16 A, 250 V, 50 to 60 Hz rating for onboard AC circuits
- 2-module flush-mounted body sized at 44.8 x 47 x 36 mm
- Enhanced contact protection in the SICURY socket design
- Front label space for circuit identification
- Available in white or black within the same Neve Up format
Variants
This outlet is offered in two color configurations within the same Neve Up format.
Across both versions, the electrical rating and body size stay the same at 16 A, 250 V, 50 to 60 Hz, 2 modules, and 44.8 x 47 x 36 mm. The change between variants is the visible finish.
- VM09248, Color: White. Glossy white surface with a RAL 9003 reference. It suits light cabin liners, white furniture fronts, and bright interior switch panels.
- VM09248.CM, Color: Black. Carbon matt surface with an anthracite tone similar to RAL 7016. It is easier to integrate into darker helm panels and modern interior trim.
Installation and fit
This is a flush-mounted device, so the cutout, mounting support, and front plate need to match the Neve Up 2-module format. Check the available depth behind the panel as well, especially in liner panels and furniture bulkheads where cable space is limited.
The outlet belongs on the boat's AC distribution side and should be matched to the circuit voltage and plug standard already used on board. For mixed 12 V, 24 V, and AC systems, this part is for the 250 V AC side only.
Use on board
It is a good match for refits and new builds that want a tidy outlet in protected spaces such as cabins, saloons, and galleys, especially where Euro-American plug compatibility is already part of the onboard setup. The two finish options let the outlet stay visually consistent with light or dark panel schemes without changing the electrical spec.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
