The Garmin 010-12445-11 is a trim piece snap cover for 5-inch echoMAP CHIRP 5x units, replacing the small trim cap when the original has been misplaced or damaged.
It is compatible with echoMAP CHIRP 52cv, 52dv, 53cv, 53dv, 54cv, 54dv, 55cv, and 55dv models, and it comes in black.
This part is not a screen sun cover. It is the snap-on trim piece that finishes the mount area around the display.

Compatibility and fit
Confirm the model on the label of your unit includes echoMAP CHIRP and one of the 52, 53, 54, or 55 cv or dv suffixes. Similar-looking non-CHIRP models use different trim pieces.
Installation and setup
With the display already mounted, align the cover with the trim area and press evenly until it seats fully. If it does not sit flush, remove it and check for misalignment or debris before snapping it back in.
Use on board
This is a practical replacement if a trim cap was lost during a dash refit, service work, or winter storage. It suits boats where the chartplotter is mounted on an open helm and you want the mount area to look complete again.
Maintenance and care
Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and wipe dry. Avoid harsh solvents that can haze the surface.
