Overview

The Garmin 010-10747-01 is a carry case that loads from the top and comes in black for compatible StreetPilot portable GPS navigators. It fits StreetPilot c510, c530, c550, and c580 units, giving you a simple way to keep the navigator protected when it is off the mount and not in use.

On a boat, this is handy for stowing a backup navigator in a dry locker, nav table, or gear bag between trips, and for carrying the unit between the dock, the vehicle, and the cabin. It is meant for storage and transport rather than use in rain or spray, so keep it out of standing water and wipe salt off the GPS before putting it away.

Compatibility and fit

This case is intended for StreetPilot c-series portable navigators listed above. Check the model name on the front bezel or back label before ordering, since Garmin handhelds and marine chartplotters use different form factors and will not match the same case.

For the best fit, stow the navigator by itself and keep bulky mounts, suction cups, and power cables in a separate pocket of your bag.

Maintenance and care

If the case gets wet with salt spray, let it dry fully before storing it below deck. Keeping grit and sunscreen off the GPS before it goes into the case will also help prevent scratches over time.
