Overview

The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD VUS032R is an electronic chart for the Southern Gulf of Mexico, covering the Gulf from Matagorda Bay to Belize City and including areas such as Corpus Christi, Veracruz, the Bay of Campeche, Cancun, and Cozumel.

On a compatible Garmin chartplotter, it adds navigation and fishing chart detail with tides, currents, and depth contours. Depth Range Shading supports up to 10 depth ranges, and some areas include up to 1-foot contours to help you read bottom changes around channels and structure.

It is available as a preloaded card or as a download you install to a microSD/SD card. Once the chart is on the card and in the plotter, you can use it on the water without needing an internet connection.

Key features
  • Coverage for the Southern Gulf of Mexico, from Matagorda Bay to Belize City, including major ports and coastal stretches in between.
  • Integrated Garmin and Navionics data with navigation aids, tides, currents, depth contours, and fishing-focused bathymetry.
  • Auto Guidance calculates a suggested route using the depth and overhead clearance you enter.
  • Depth Range Shading supports up to 10 user-selected depth bands for faster depth awareness at a glance.
  • Up to 1-foot contours in supported areas for tighter bottom detail around passes, channels, and fishing structure.
  • BlueChart g3 Vision versions add layers like 3-D views, relief shading, and aerial photos in supported areas.
  • Download format installs to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express, and each card holds one chart.
Variants

This chart is offered in multiple configurations so you can match both the chart tier and the way you want to receive it.

Across the range, the coverage area stays focused on the Southern Gulf of Mexico. The BlueChart version varies between BlueChart g3 Vision (region VUS032R) and BlueChart g3 (region HXUS032R), and the format varies between a preloaded SD card and a computer download you install to a card.

  • 010-C0733-00: BlueChart g3 Vision, SD Card format. The chart data runs directly from the card when it is inserted in a compatible chartplotter.
  • 010-D0489-00: BlueChart g3 Vision, Download format. The chart is installed to a microSD/SD card with Garmin Express before you move the card to the chartplotter.
  • 010-C1154-20: BlueChart g3, SD Card format. This is the HXUS032R version for plotters that use BlueChart g3 regional cards.
  • 010-D1601-00: BlueChart g3, Download format. Install the HXUS032R chart to a microSD/SD card with Garmin Express, then use the card in the chartplotter.
Compatibility and fit

These charts are made for compatible Garmin marine chartplotters and sounders that support BlueChart g3 or BlueChart g3 Vision and have a microSD/SD card slot. After the card is inserted, select the chart from the chart menu and adjust layers like depth shading from the plotter’s chart settings.

Region coverage matters on longer runs. If your routes routinely extend beyond the Matagorda Bay to Belize City corridor, plan on adding the appropriate neighboring region as well.

Installation and setup

For the SD card format, insert the card with the chartplotter powered off, then power up and give the unit a moment to index the chart. For the download format, you will need a computer and a microSD/SD card; Garmin Express handles the install to the card, and each card is used for a single chart.

Auto Guidance routes are suggestions and should be reviewed against local conditions, notices, and seamanship before you follow them.

Use on board

This chart is a good match for boats running the Southern Gulf of Mexico, from coastal cruising out of Texas to crossings and coastal hops along Mexico and into Belize, where depth contouring and harbor detail help with route planning and safer approaches. It also suits anglers who want contour detail to help line up structure, ledges, and channels.

Like any electronic chart, it works best as part of a complete navigation setup, alongside your onboard sensors and good lookout practices.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
