The Raymarine E70456 is a 37STV marine satellite TV antenna system for keeping Ku-band TV reception on smaller cruising and fishing boats where radome space is limited. It uses a 37 cm reflector inside a compact dome and is suited to vessels around 7.6 to 10.7 m, or 25 to 35 ft, with a 9.0 to 30.0 V DC power requirement for installation on common 12V and 24V DC systems.
This system automatically searches for and tracks satellite TV signals while the boat is moving. Wide Range Search helps the antenna acquire a signal quickly, while Dynamic Beam Tilting compensates for heading, pitch, and roll so the picture remains more stable underway. The antenna supports Ku-band reception from 10.7 to 12.75 GHz, with RHCP, LHCP, vertical, and horizontal polarization support.
The radome measures 44 cm high by 43 cm in diameter and weighs about 9 kg, making it a practical fit for hardtops, radar arches, and other topside mounting points where larger satellite domes are not suitable. Installation and setup
The antenna should be mounted with a clear view of the sky and away from structures that can block the signal, such as masts, radar arrays, tall arches, or metal deck hardware. The compact dome size helps when working around crowded hardtops, but the mounting point still needs enough strength for the 9 kg antenna and enough clearance for service access.
The Antenna Control Unit is installed inside the boat and connects to the antenna with a 15 m RG6 RF cable. The ACU requires DC power and typically draws 30 W, with a maximum consumption of 50 W, so the circuit should be planned with suitable protection and cable routing for a marine electronics installation.

Maintenance and care
Keep the radome clean and free from salt buildup, bird residue, wax, and heavy grime that can affect signal performance. A fresh water rinse after saltwater use and a mild boat-safe cleaner are usually enough for routine care.
During seasonal service, check the mounting hardware, cable strain relief, and exterior cable runs for movement, chafe, or corrosion. Any satellite TV antenna works best when the dome stays secure, the cable path remains dry and protected, and the power connection is kept in good condition.
