Overview

The Garmin 010-02706-30 is a portable LiveScope Plus ice fishing kit that lets you run LiveScope Forward and LiveScope Down views from a compatible Garmin ECHOMAP or GPSMAP display on the ice. It includes the LiveScope Plus System (GLS 10 sonar module and LVS34 transducer) plus a 12 Ah rechargeable lead-acid battery, so you can power the setup without relying on the boat.

LiveScope gives a live, real-time sonar picture so you can watch fish move and see how they react to your jig. Forward mode and Down mode both support viewing out to 200 ft, which helps you decide where to drill and how deep to work a spot.

The carrying case is sized to fit ECHOMAP 7 inch or 9 inch units and GPSMAP 7 inch and 9 inch units, along with the included mounts, cables, and battery. A compatible display is required and not included.

Compatibility and fit

This kit is meant for anglers who already own a compatible Garmin ECHOMAP or GPSMAP unit and want to move that screen from the boat to the ice. The bag is sized around 7 inch and 9 inch ECHOMAP and GPSMAP units, so check your display size and mounting footprint if you plan to travel with the unit installed in the case.

Because the LiveScope Plus System uses a dedicated sonar module, you will also want enough room in the case to keep the module, cables, and battery laid out without pinching connectors when the bag is zipped.

Installation and on-ice setup

On the ice, the typical setup is to place the LiveScope transducer on the supplied pole mount, lower it below the ice, and set the transducer angle for Forward or Down viewing. The transducer connects to the LiveScope sonar module, and the module connects to your compatible display. Power is supplied from the included battery through the flexible power cable.

For clean sonar returns, keep the transducer face free of slush, avoid bumping it against the edge of the hole, and re-check alignment if you rotate the pole or move to a new hole.

Use cases on board

This setup makes the most sense for boat owners who run an ECHOMAP or GPSMAP system in open water and want the same sonar capability for hardwater season without building a separate portable electronics package. It is also a solid fit for tournament-style ice fishing where quick moves and fast feedback matter more than sitting on a hole all day.

Maintenance and storage

Rinse and dry any parts that contact water, then let everything air out before packing it back into the bag to prevent corrosion on connectors. Keep the battery charged between trips, and store the kit in a cool, dry place so cables and seals do not stiffen or crack over time.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
