Overview
The Hella Marine 014565111 is a 16 inch LED mini lightbar that outputs an amber warning signal through a clear lens for on-board visibility in working and maneuvering situations.
It runs on 10 to 30 V DC for 12 V and 24 V systems, with a maximum power consumption of 70 W. The dome and housing are polycarbonate, and the unit carries IP67 and IP6K9K protection for spray, washdowns, and high-pressure cleaning.
This is a warning beacon style lightbar, not a deck or spreader light. It makes sense on boats where an amber signal is used for deck operations, towing support, dockside work, or other situations where you want to be noticed without adding white forward lighting.
Key features
- Operating voltage: 10 to 30 V DC (supports 12 V and 24 V systems)
- Amber warning signal with clear cover lens
- Flashing and rotating light functions with user-selectable patterns
- Bracket mounting format with an overall footprint around 400 mm x 218 mm and a weight of about 1,300 g
- Fixed version connection: 500 mm cable
- Rated for IP67 and IP6K9K, with polarity reversal protection
- Operating temperature range: -40°C to +65°C
Installation and setup
The bracket mount is intended for a surface that stays flat and rigid, with a clear 360 degree view around the boat. Typical mounting points include a pilothouse roof, hardtop, or an equipment rack where antennas and rods will not block the signal.
Plan wiring and switching around the load. Current draw is about 6.1 A on 12 V systems and 2.8 A on 24 V systems, so it is usually wired on a dedicated, fused circuit with a switch rated for the current.
The fixed-mount lead is 500 mm, so it helps to place a cable pass-through close to the mounting point. Keep any splices inside a protected enclosure and use marine-grade sealing practices so the connection stays dry.
Compatibility and fit
At roughly 400 mm long and 218 mm wide, this lightbar fits well on center consoles, pilothouses, and utility craft where space is limited but a full-size beacon still matters. The temperature range supports cold-weather storage and hot decks in summer.
Materials and care
The dome and housing are polycarbonate. The bracket system uses stainless steel mounting brackets with foam foot cushions to help protect the mounting surface. During regular washdowns, rinse salt from the lens and mounting points and re-check fasteners so the light stays secure and the optics stay clear.
Use cases on board
This lightbar is a good match for workboats, support craft, and larger tenders that need an amber warning signal during loading, towing, or dockside operations. It also fits charter, fishing, and dive boats that want a conspicuous signal during low-light deck work.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
