Overview
The TACO Marine COK-0001B-2 is a pair of standard outrigger release clips for light and medium-duty trolling setups. Each clip combines stainless steel and plastic construction with an adjustable tension setting, giving anglers control over how firmly the line is held before release.
These clips are used in outrigger rigging to help manage bait presentation while trolling from center consoles, sportfishing boats, and other fishing vessels with outriggers. The adjustable release pressure is useful when changing between lighter baits, medium trolling spreads, or different sea conditions.
The set includes two clips, so it can outfit both sides of a typical outrigger spread or replace a worn pair in an existing rigging setup. A 1-year limited warranty is included.
Key features
- Standard outrigger release clip set for light and medium-duty fishing applications.
- Adjustable tension helps fine-tune release pressure for different trolling setups.
- Stainless steel and plastic construction supports use in a saltwater fishing environment.
- Sold as a pair for port and starboard outrigger rigging or two replacement positions.
- Works as a straightforward replacement or upgrade part within standard outrigger line systems.
- Includes a 1-year limited warranty.
What’s included
- Two standard outrigger release clips
Installation and use
These clips are intended to be installed as part of an outrigger line setup, where they hold and release the fishing line during trolling. The tension adjustment should be set so the line stays secure while the bait runs properly, then releases cleanly when a fish strikes or when the angler needs to clear the spread.
They are a practical match for anglers who run light to medium trolling presentations and want a simple clip system that can be adjusted without changing the rest of the outrigger hardware.
Maintenance and care
After saltwater use, rinse the clips with fresh water and allow them to dry before storage. Check the adjustment hardware and contact points regularly, especially after long trolling days, offshore runs, or periods where the boat is stored outside in sun and spray.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
