Overview

This light mounts on a flat surface and takes up little space with a 2-5/16 in diameter body that stands 2-5/8 in high (59 x 67 mm). The polycarbonate housing and gasketed lens help keep spray out, and the unit is non-magnetic for cleaner installs around compasses and sensitive electronics.

Installation and wiring

Plan the mounting point so the lens has an unobstructed 360 degree view and sits clear of antennas, rails, rocket launchers, and canvas. Fasteners are not included, so match screw length and bedding method to your deck thickness and core type.

Wiring is via two 6.3 mm flat plug connectors. Tie it into a properly fused navigation or anchor-light circuit on your 12V panel, and seal any deck penetrations so water cannot track into the laminate.

Compatibility and fit

This light is a good match for smaller powerboats and sailboats that need an all-round white light for anchoring or general all-round visibility. The black base blends in on dark hardware and painted surfaces without drawing attention during the day.

Maintenance and spares

Rinse salt off the housing and lens after heavy spray or washdowns, and clean with mild soap to keep the optics clear. Replacement parts are available if needed, including bulb 288904 and replacement lens 63100.
