Overview
The Victron Energy Phoenix Inverter Control is a remote control panel for compatible Victron Phoenix inverter installations where the inverter itself may be mounted out of easy reach, such as behind an electrical panel, under a berth, or in a protected equipment locker. It gives the boat owner a practical way to operate the inverter from a more accessible location without moving the main inverter hardware.
This product family covers two connection types: a version for Phoenix inverters with a UTP remote monitoring and control socket, and a VE.Direct version for Phoenix VE.Direct inverters. That distinction matters during replacement or retrofit work, because the panel must match the control connection on the inverter.
Key features
- Remote inverter control panel for compatible Victron Phoenix inverter systems.
- Available in UTP and VE.Direct configurations to match different Phoenix inverter generations.
- Helps bring inverter operation to a helm-adjacent panel, nav station, cabin switch area, or DC distribution location.
- Useful on boats where the inverter is installed in a protected compartment and regular access is inconvenient.
- The UTP version supports selected Phoenix 12V, 24V, and 48V inverter models with the matching remote monitoring and control socket.
- The VE.Direct version is made for Phoenix inverter models that use VE.Direct remote on and off control.
Variants
The Phoenix Inverter Control is offered in two configurations based on the inverter control connection.
The key difference between the variants is VE.Direct compatibility. The non-VE.Direct version is for Phoenix inverters with a UTP remote monitoring and control socket, while the VE.Direct version is for Phoenix VE.Direct inverter models.
- REC030001210: VE.Direct No. This version is for Phoenix inverters equipped with a UTP remote monitoring and control socket, and it can also be used with a MultiPlus Inverter/Charger where automatic transfer switching is needed without using the charger function.
- REC040010210R: VE.Direct Yes. This version is for Phoenix VE.Direct inverter models and gives remote on and off control through the VE.Direct control arrangement.
Compatibility and fit
For the UTP version, compatibility includes Phoenix inverter models 12/1200, 12/1600, 12/2000, 12/3000, 12/5000, 24/1200, 24/1600, 24/2000, 24/3000, 24/5000, 48/3000, and 48/5000. For the VE.Direct version, match it to Phoenix inverter models that use VE.Direct remote on and off control.
Before replacing an older panel or adding remote control to an existing boat system, check the connection type on the inverter rather than matching by appearance alone. UTP and VE.Direct versions serve different inverter families and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Installation and use on board
On a boat, this control panel is most useful when the inverter is mounted in a dry equipment space but the operator needs control from a more convenient location. Common mounting areas include a main electrical panel, nav station, cabin control panel, or a protected helm-side switch area.
Plan the panel location around cable routing, visibility, and protection from spray. The panel should be easy to reach during normal use, while the inverter remains installed where ventilation, wiring access, and service clearance are better managed.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
