Overview
The Garmin NVSA012R is a Brazil inland and coastal electronic chart region for compatible Garmin chartplotters, with detailed coverage of the coast of Brazil plus the Amazon River from Benjamin Constant to the Atlantic Ocean. It is available as Garmin Navionics Vision+ or Garmin Navionics+, and it comes either in microSD/SD format or as a download depending on the configuration.
Both versions include a one-year subscription that enables daily chart updates through the ActiveCaptain app, plus Auto Guidance+ route suggestions for dock-to-dock planning. Depth range shading supports up to 10 color-shaded target depth ranges, which helps when you are scanning for fish-holding structure or simply keeping an eye on shoaling areas.

Variants
This chart region is offered in multiple configurations so you can match the feature set and delivery format to your Garmin setup.
The main differences are the chart version (Garmin Navionics+ versus Garmin Navionics Vision+) and how you receive it (microSD/SD card versus download). Vision+ adds premium map layers such as relief shading and satellite imagery where supported, while Navionics+ focuses on the core chart experience with the same update subscription model.

- 010-C1453-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format microSD/SD. This is the physical chart card option with the Navionics+ feature set and a straightforward card-based install.
- 010-D2181-20: Version Garmin Navionics+; Format Download. This is the digital delivery option with the Navionics+ feature set for compatible systems that manage charts through downloads.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm that your Garmin chartplotter supports Garmin Navionics+ and or Garmin Navionics Vision+ charting and that it is compatible with the format you are purchasing. For card versions, check whether your unit uses microSD or full-size SD so you are not stuck with the wrong slot style at the helm.
Features like daily updates through ActiveCaptain and Auto Guidance+ require compatible hardware and an active subscription for the covered area. Route guidance is planning help and should always be cross-checked with local conditions, notices, and real-world seamanship.
Installation and setup
For the microSD/SD versions, insert the card into the chartplotter and keep it in place when you want the chart data available on screen. For download versions, the chart is delivered digitally and installed through the supported download workflow for your Garmin unit and account.
If you plan to update regularly, set up ActiveCaptain ahead of time so updates are easy to pull down when you have a stable connection at the dock.
Use on board
This region is a practical fit for coastal cruising along Brazil, offshore runs in and out of marinas, and longer inland transits where the Amazon coverage matters. The depth range shading is also useful for anglers who want to quickly highlight target depths while they work structure and edges.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
