• 0315DP1STS, Dimensions Base 1-5/8 x 1-1/2-Inch. This smaller footprint has a 7/16 inch opening height, 7/8 inch opening width, and uses #4 screws, making it suited to tighter exterior mounting areas.
• 0315DP2STS, Dimensions Base 2x2-Inch. This larger footprint has a 9/16 inch opening height, 1-7/8 inch opening width, and uses #6 screws, giving more coverage where the cutout or surface area calls for it.

Installation and fit

Before installation, compare the base dimensions and opening dimensions with the existing cutout or planned vent location. The shell should cover the opening fully while leaving enough flat surface around it for the fasteners to seat properly.

For exterior use, mount the ventilator with the opening oriented to reduce direct water entry based on the boat location and airflow path. Bedding the fastener holes and contact surface with a suitable marine sealant helps protect the deck, cabin side, or transom surface from water intrusion.
