Overview
The Raymarine E70515 is a 21.5-inch Axiom XL multifunction display for glass bridge helms that need chartplotting, radar, remote sonar modules, cameras, and vessel data on one screen. Its Full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen gives a 16:9 layout, 24-bit color, 1275-nit brightness, and 89° viewing angles, which helps when the helm is exposed to glare or when the screen needs to stay readable from off-center positions.
This unit runs on 12V or 24V systems with an 8 to 32 VDC operating range, a 15 A fuse rating, and IPX6/IPX7 protection for wet helm areas. The housing can be flush mounted or surface mounted, and at 533.56 x 326.33 mm with a weight of 9.9 kg, it suits larger console and bridge layouts where there is enough panel space and room behind the dash for cable routing.
It makes the most sense as the main helm display on larger center consoles, sportfish boats, cruisers, and pilothouse setups where split-screen chart, radar, sonar, and video are used together. With three RayNet ports, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, HDMI in and out, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and analog video inputs, it can sit at the center of a broad onboard electronics package rather than acting as a simple standalone plotter.
Key features
- 21.5-inch Full HD IPS multi-touch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 16:9 format, 24-bit color, 1275-nit brightness, and 89° viewing angles
- 12V and 24V compatibility with an 8 to 32 VDC operating range and 15 A fuse requirement
- Three PoE RayNet Ethernet ports for radar, remote CHIRP or RealVision 3D sonar modules, cameras, and additional Axiom-family displays
- NMEA 2000 via DeviceNet plus two NMEA 0183 connections for integrating newer networks and legacy electronics
- HDMI input and HDMI output, dual analog video inputs, and support for up to four camera streams on one display
- 64 GB internal solid-state storage, with remote card reader support for external chart media
- IPX6/IPX7 waterproof rating with a glass helm layout that supports both flush and surface mounting
Installation and fit
This is a large-format helm display, so panel planning matters before cutting or ordering. Flush mounting gives the cleanest finish for a glass bridge dash, while surface mounting can make sense where access behind the panel is tighter or where the dash structure is not set up for a full recessed install.
It can be used in open cockpits and enclosed bridge stations, and the included gasket tape, mounting hardware, right-angled power and data cable, and RayNet cable help keep the install tidy. If chart cards are part of the setup, plan for a remote card reader because external storage is handled away from the display itself.
Electrical and system integration
Axiom XL 22 fits well into mixed marine networks. It connects to NMEA 2000 backbones through DeviceNet, handles NMEA 0183 for older equipment, and uses RayNet for high-bandwidth links to radar, sonar modules, cameras, and other displays. That gives it a clear role in refits where some legacy gear stays in place while newer network equipment is added around it.
HDMI input and output are useful when the helm needs access to a connected PC or when the display needs to be mirrored below deck. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth add app connectivity around the boat, and the camera support is useful for watchkeeping, engine room views, or docking layouts where multiple video feeds need to stay in front of the operator.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
